Did you spot the differences in the wear pattern on the floor in front of the toilet? I think the vid is of a similar cell, but not the cell from the photos.
I'm a field service tech Anon for a company that provides technology to inmates. I'm inside jails and jail cells regularly. I've never encountered a communications cable or cabled device in a jail cell in any of the correctional facilities I service, no cameras, tablets, telephones etc. My experience supports your assertion, however, I don't think I could say there are never any cameras in cells in other facilities or state that 'there are no cameras in jail cells'.
