Susan Collins, seeking re-election, received cash from Kao, wife and employees
The Federal Election Commission is also investigating a mysterious donor
The donor, a Hawaii-based company, gave $150,000 to Collins' campaign
The FEC were alerted to the large contribution by a finance watchdog
Kao has not commented on either his arrest nor the FEC investigation
