In 2016, I was a simple hardworking family man with conservative values who voted for a man who stood for my beliefs.
In 2020, I am called a white supremacist, a racist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, a, capitalistic pig, a Qanon conspiracy theorist and the root of all that is evil. I leave my home armed out of fear that I or my family will be assaulted, accosted, insulted, threatened with physical violence and/or verbally abused simply for the color of my skin, failing to wear a mask, the hat on my head, and for my support of our President. I have, and encouraged my family, to eliminate use of all social media out of fear of offending unknown persons which may result in losing our livelihood or the aforementioned fears. I fear for myself, my family, some of my friends, my way of life and my country.
Why am I and my family subjected to this?
