to sum: the man claims that the 'false positive' of the test is not subtracted out.

they misused the data and came up with bogus charts.

so if they did 10000 tests

and 100 came back positive they were not accounting that the rate of false positives must also be applied to the 10000 tests, not just the set that came back positive.

so the equation must include a subtraction of the error rate of the tests.

the equation would be something like

number_of_positive_outcomes - (number_of_tests * error_rate)

but instead they used

number_of_positive_outcomes - (number_of_positive_outcomes * error_rate)

the conclusion of Paul Weston in the video is that there may be no positives at all when the data is used correctly. And the error rate subtracted for the full number of tests.

Mr Weston says it's a British National Scandal that will take down the government over there.
