I am a Registered Caregiver to a Disabled Vetran. We have been with the research since day one on poll. I'm on the Presidential Advisory Board as well. I am currently sitting in the Emergency room with my Vet at a Hospital that is 1 mile away. He has been dizzy and vomiting for 4 days and is very weak. This is the second bought of this. 3 weeks ago he was having the same symptoms for 8 days straight. The closest VA Hospital is 39 miles away and he didn't go in.
>We were told the VA may not cover his emergency visit to the local hospital because we are closer than 100miles to the VA Hosp. This makes me so angry! Our Vets deserve better. Vets are still getting jacked around with their medical care.
POTUS please enact more help to the Vets. The billing and emergencies aren't where they should be yet, more VA Hospitals need to be built. The walk in locations have no emergency services.
