Federal Judge Orders DOJ to Release Less-Redacted Version of Mueller Report

A federal judge has ordered the Justice Department (DOJ) to publish a less-redacted version of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Judge Reggie Walton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said on Wednesday that the department had failed to properly demonstrate the redacted information could be protected by a Freedom of Information Act exemption called the deliberative process privilege.

Senate Panel Authorizes Subpoenas for CEOs of Twitter, Facebook, Google

A Senate chairman plans on sending subpoenas to the CEOs of three technology giants amid a push to alter the liability protections that currently shield the companies from lawsuits.

Senate Commerce Chairman Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) said Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg declined to accept invitations to testify before his committee, necessitating the subpoenas.

"Hong Kong Is China" - NYT Gives Communist Party "Free PR" With Op-Ed By Pro-Beijing Lawmaker

Publishing an editorial by a sitting US Senator is enough to force the top editor of the NYT's Opinion section to quit their jobs in disgrace, after the paper's "woke" reporting staff - who can't possibly fathom why trust in their "reporting" has eroded to such a profound degree - rebelled, and condemned the decision to publish the views of Sen. Tom Cotton a bridge too far. One reporter even claimed that the decision to publish the editorial put the lives of black reporters in danger. Asked to explain how, the reporter offered some nonsense about systemic racism.

The NYT's opinion page has published editorials penned by Hitler during the run-up to WWII, and by members of the Taliban and Al Qaeda. It's part of the Gray Lady's commitment to bring the views of all pertinent people and political groups to the NYT's readers without editorial slant. It's an important opportunity for these influential parties to express themselves in their own words. Adding a delicious irony to the scandal, it was revealed after James Bennett quit the NYT that he and his editors actually solicited Sen. Cotton to write the editorial.

Now, in the latest example of how the NYT's sanctimonious, "woke" moralizing only applies to the domestic political enemies of its Democratic readers and supporters, the NYT has published an editorial from a member of Hong Kong's executive council arguing that - like it or not - Hong Kong belongs to Beijing.

Of course, millions of Hong Kongers marched against Beijing's crackdown, and in the months since, Beijing has forced through a National Security law essentially robbing the city-state - once seen as the gateway to the mainland - of the political freedoms guaranteed by the "Basic Law", the Constitution created by the British, which is legally the law of the land in Hong Kong until 2047, when China assumes complete control of the territory.

In the editorial, Regina Ip, a pro-Beijing legislator on the city's executive council, argued that Hong Kongers were craving stability when Beijing stepped in to restore calm.

At the end of the editorial, the author offers Hong Kong a kind of compromise: accepting its new status as "the freest and most international city" in China. To quote the comedian John Mulaney, that's like being the smartest horse.

No amount of outcry, condemnation or sanctions over the Chinese government’s purported encroachment in Hong Kong’s affairs will alter the fact that Hong Kong is part of China and that its destiny is intertwined with the mainland’s.

Hong Kong has been rocked by a series of crises after the eruption of protests last year over a proposed bill (long since withdrawn) that would have allowed the extradition of some suspects in criminal cases to mainland China.

Hong Kongers who wanted the city promptly to return to peace thought the authorities’ handling of the situation, which dragged on for months and grew more and more violent, was incompetent. For other locals, many outsiders and apparently much of the global media, a people’s legitimate quest for more democracy was being suppressed.

Something had to be done, and the Chinese authorities did it.

Meghan Markle Lauds BLM Rallies as ‘Beautiful’ While Admitting Their Often ‘Inflammatory’ Nature

Last week it was reported that the Sussexes may have breached royal protocol when they recorded a video in which they spoke about the upcoming presidential poll, with critics deeming their remarks politically non-neutral.

Speaking alongside her husband Prince Harry in a video interview with the Evening Standard, Meghan Markle sang praise to the Black Lives Matter protests across the US, calling the demonstrations “a beautiful thing” as long as they aim to bring “unity and recognition of equality”.

She went on to acknowledge that the often violent rallies that swept across the country in the wake of African-American man George Floyd’s death in police custody had at times been “inflammatory”.

“The impetus is from a place of recognizing equality and if you just go back to its ground level, I don't think there's anything controversial about it”, she said, adding that “what has been inflammatory for a lot of people is when any version of the community becomes disruptive”.

Dwelling on the massive riots, which did not infrequently spill out into looting and mass vandalism, Markle contended that as long as “we focus on the uplift and the positivity while still acknowledging the past” things can be “reshaped” and become “really exciting”.

The couple spoke out from their new Santa Barbara home on the first day of Black History Month in the UK, demanding that an end be put to “structural racism” in Britain.

Further on in the video sit-down, Prince Harry speculated on his own racial “awakening” at the issues faced by black people “because I wasn't aware of so many of the issues and so many of the problems within the UK, but also globally as well”.

Their interview is the latest in a long series of socio-political comments offered by the couple.

They have been repeatedly called out for breaking royal protocol, being accused of meddling in politics, with the issue reaching a boiling point last week when Harry weighed in on the upcoming US election by urging voters to “reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity”.

Ahead of the election, growing numbers of US Jews consider leaving

Heather Segal says she hears the same fears from one Jewish American after another.

By 11:42 a.m. on the morning after Donald Trump refused to condemn white supremacists during the presidential debate, Heather Segal had received four inquiries from Americans interested in moving to Canada. Two of them were Jewish.

Segal, an immigration lawyer in Toronto, knows there’s always a spike in inquiries during US election years. But in her 25 years of experience, it’s never been as big as it is now.

In 2016, she said, she received a couple dozen inquiries, total, from Americans looking to move to Canada. This year, she gets six or seven inquiries every day. And most of them, she said, are from Jews.

“In my life, I have never seen what I’m seeing,” said Segal, who is herself Jewish. She said she hears the same fears from one Jewish American after another.

“What they echo to me: ‘We’ve seen this before,'” Segal said. “‘I’m not going to get stuck. I’m not going to get caught. We know how this goes. There’s going to be a civil war. It’s going to be the end of democracy. I’m very concerned for our future. I don’t want to wait and see what happens. My grandparents left Poland in World War II.'”

She added, “Whatever it is, honestly, it gives me pause. What do I hear? ‘I never thought that I would be looking for this. I’m well established in the United States. My family is here, my business is here. This is not something I ever thought would happen or that I even considered.’ That line is not one person saying it. I hear it several times a day.”

Americans vowing to move to Canada after the presidential election is almost a cliche. Among observant Jews, the same might be said of moving to Israel — where most Jews get automatic citizenship — if the wrong person takes office or if conditions change in the United States.

This year feels different, say immigration lawyers and others who work in the small industry of Jews permanently crossing borders. Much of the drive to leave has to do with the prospect of President Trump winning reelection, potentially after a chaotic post-election period in which he or others dispute the results of the vote. American Jews, lawyers and advocates say, are also chilled by a climate of rising extremism and antisemitism, some of it stoked or condoned by the president.

Schumer PAC Backs Former Lobbyist by Claiming Lindsey Graham Is Beholden to Special Interests

Jaime Harrison represented six major pharmaceutical companies

A super PAC tied to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) is attacking Republican senator Lindsey Graham for being beholden to special interests—even though Graham's Democratic opponent, Jaime Harrison, spent years as a lobbyist for Big Pharma.

The Senate Majority PAC is pouring $6.5 million into a South Carolina ad blitz, signaling that national Democrats see the race between Graham and Harrison as competitive. The first ad, released Tuesday, claims Graham has "gone Washington" over special interests and the price of prescription drugs.

"You'll be seeing drug prices falling substantially in the not-too-distant future, and it's going to be beautiful," President Trump says at the start of the ad. "Not with Lindsey Graham in the Senate," the ad's narrator says, "because it's Graham who stands in the way. He's spent 25 years in Congress taking millions from special interests like big drug companies, then voted against lowering drug prices. If we want lower drug prices, we need to clean out the swamp. Lindsay Graham: gone Washington, gone bad."

The ad never references Harrison, who pushed the interests of major pharmaceutical companies for years as a D.C. lobbyist. While Harrison was working for the now-defunct Podesta Group, he directly represented pharma giants Amgen, Sanofi, Novo Nordisk, Genzyme, Merck, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals. His campaign did not respond to inquiries about his work with Big Pharma.

Harrison's eight-year span as a lobbyist proved lucrative to the Senate candidate. Prior to joining the Podesta Group in 2008, he reported no assets, with credit card and loan debts valued between $140,000 and $365,000. By the time Harrison had left the Podesta Group in 2016, he had amassed up to $3.45 million in assets.

National Democrats are now looking to South Carolina as an opportunity to flip a Republican-held Senate seat. The ad buy from the Senate Majority PAC is the group's first foray into the Palmetto State and includes a $1.5 million digital campaign and $5 million in television ads.

Belgium’s new justice minister has spoken of Jewish lobby

In February, when Justice Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne was the Mayor of Kortrijk he tweeted that the “Jewish lobby is working extra hours. After Aalst, now Washington."

Belgium’s newly sworn in center-left government has rattled the Jewish community because of its pro-Palestinian stance, its lack of emphasis on antisemitism and its appointment of a justice minister who has publicly spoken of the “Jewish lobby.”

On Thursday, Alexander De Croo was sworn in as prime minister, replacing Sophie Wilmes, who had been the head of a caretaker government for the last 16 months.

Wilmes, who was the first Belgian Jewish prime minister, will be the foreign minister.

The new justice minister will be Vincent Van Quickenborne of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats Party.

In February, when Van Quickenborne was the mayor of Kortrijk, he tweeted that the “Jewish lobby is working extra hours. After Aalst, now Washington.”

It was not the first time Van Quickenborne had raised eyebrows. In 2002, he traveled to Gaza and met with Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Hassan Yassin.

“I am a bit anxious because I have seen a number of appointments that have raised eyebrows, and in some cases rightly so,” said Yohan Benizri, president of the Belgian Federation of Jewish Organizations and vice president of the European Jewish Congress and the World Jewish Congress.

In the platform there was “no explicit mention of the fight against antisemitism” even though there is the ongoing issue of the Aalst carnival, he said, citing the annual carnival that has gained notoriety for its antisemitic costumes and floats.

The silence was striking when one takes into account the references in the platform to Israeli plans to annex portions of the West Bank, Benizri said. Religious freedom is also absent, he added.

Michael Freilich, a Jewish member of the Belgium Federal Parliament from the opposition New Flemish Alliance Party, also mentioned this platform.

The biggest threats to Europe and Belgium are from China and Russia, but those countries are not named in the platform while Israel is, he said.

Tokyo Stock Exchange Halts Trading For Entire Day Due To Technical Glitch

TSE is the third largest exchange in the world by market cap

Some regional stock exchanges also suspended trading activity

TSE currently has a total market capitalization of $6.1 trillion

Japan’s huge stock market suffered an unprecedented shutdown on Thursday due to a technical glitch that caused the Tokyo Stock Exchange, or TSE, to lose an entire day of trading for the first time in history.

Regional bourses were also affected by the outage.

The disruption occurred as the Japanese government wants the TSE – the third largest exchange in the world by market cap – to help make Japan the region’s principal financial hub.

The outage also occurred on a day that traders expected especially high volumes because of the release of the Bank of Japan's Tankan survey, a closely monitored economic indicator.

The regional Nagoya Stock Exchange, Fukuoka Stock Exchange, and Sapporo Securities Exchanges – all of which use the TSE system to conduct trades – also suspended trading activity on Thursday. (The Osaka Exchange, which uses a different system and mostly trades derivatives and index futures, operated as usual.)

TSE currently comprises more than 3,700 listed companies and a total market capitalization of $6.1 trillion.

“As someone in charge of the market, I feel responsible,” TSE President Koichiro Miyahara said. “We have caused serious inconvenience to a lot of people, and I deeply apologize.”

The TSE said the problem was caused by "a hardware failure" and that a back-up device failed. The exchange said it will replace the defective hardware and expects normal trading to resume on Friday.

The TSE uses the “Arrowhead” stock trading system, which was developed by Fujitsu Ltd. Initially launched in 2010, Arrowhead was upgraded in 2015 and 2019. TSE said it will work with Fujitsu to fix the problem.

"There should be a backup system, so it's puzzling that trading would stop altogether," a portfolio manager told Nikkei Asian Review.

Ted Cruz Slams CNN: "Trump Broke You Guys"

During an appearance on Chris Cuomo’s show, Senator Ted Cruz lambasted CNN for being obsessed with hating President Trump, telling the host, “Donald Trump broke you guys.”

Speaking about the fallout from Tuesday night’s debate, the Texas Senator said Americans were sick of the media’s wall to wall fixation with bashing the commander in chief.

“Chris, there was a time when CNN actually cared about being journalistic and talking about facts – Donald Trump broke you guys,” said Cruz.

“Your entire show, your entire network now is just how much you hate Trump,” he added.

He responded to Cuomo’s claim that Trump had nothing positive to say about America during the debate by contrasting his policy agenda with Joe Biden’s.

“Joe Biden’s policy agenda is shutting down the country, shutting down small businesses and shutting down schools,” compared to Trump’s goal of “opening up the economy, bringing jobs back, getting kids back in school, and that’s a very different policy agenda,” said Cruz.

The Senator went on to assert that Biden’s policy response to coronavirus was hurting a lot of Americans, before explaining how people back in Texas don’t understand how the only thing CNN hosts talk about is how much they hate the president.

Cuomo pulled a series of befuddled facial expressions throughout before shaking his head.

As we highlighted earlier, CNN is now pushing the narrative that coronavirus lockdown measures are never going to end and that Americans should just get used to it.

Texas Gov. Limits Number Of Places Mail-In Ballots Can Be Dropped Off To 1 Per County, Allows Poll Watchers To Observe Activity

Governor Greg Abbott today issued a proclamation enhancing ballot security protocols for the in-person delivery of marked mail ballots for the November 3rd Election. Under this proclamation, beginning on October 2, 2020, mail ballots that are delivered in person by voters who are eligible to vote by mail must be delivered to a single early voting clerk’s office location as publicly designated by a county’s early voting clerk. The proclamation also requires early voting clerks to allow poll watchers to observe any activity conducted at the early voting clerk’s office location related to the in-person delivery of a marked mail ballot. This proclamation amends a July 27th proclamation that extended the period in which marked mail-in ballots may be delivered in person.

“The State of Texas has a duty to voters to maintain the integrity of our elections,” said Governor Abbott. “As we work to preserve Texans’ ability to vote during the COVID-19 pandemic, we must take extra care to strengthen ballot security protocols throughout the state. These enhanced security protocols will ensure greater transparency and will help stop attempts at illegal voting.”

Turkey Fuels Azerbaijan-Armenian Conflict With Terror Proxies From Syria

Thousands of Turkish-backed militants from Syria’s Idlib province have been recruited as mercenaries to support Azerbaijan in its conflict with Armenia.

Several reports indicate that the Syrian fighters were already dispatched to Azerbaijan before the latest flare-up in hostilities with Armenia over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Azerbaijan and Armenia are each blaming the other for the eruption of violence which unconfirmed reports suggest has caused hundreds of casualties in only a matter of days – marking the worst outbreak of deadly clashes since both countries ended a border war in 1994.

However, the apparent deployment of Turkish-backed mercenaries from Syria to Azerbaijan before the weekend’s clashes indicates a level of planning between Ankara and its Azeri allies to instigate the latest round in violence.

Furthermore, Turkey’s defense ministry has admitted deployment of regular armed forces and carrying out war maneuvers in Azerbaijan over recent months, which followed a minor, but deadly clash with Armenian military in mid-July.

Again, these background events point to a deliberate decision by Azerbaijan and Turkey to escalate the long-running territorial dispute with Armenia. Turkey shares ancient cultural ties with Azerbaijan. The leaderships in Ankara and Baku are united by the rallying slogan,“two states, one nation”.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is this week amplifying Azeri grievances over Nagorno-Karabakh and has vowed to militarily support “Azerbaijani brothers” against “cruel invasion” by Armenia. Erdogan’s jingoistic rhetoric is fueling the upsurge in violence which could explode into a wider war.

Russia has traditionally strong ties with Armenia and is bound by a common defense treaty to defend the country. If Turkey, a NATO member, were to become openly involved in a war on the side of Azerbaijan that could drag Russia into the conflict and, in turn, other members of the NATO military alliance.

Moscow, along with the U.S. and other international powers, has been urging restraint from further military actions and a return to dialogue to resolve the dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh. The enclave is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but it has been controlled by an ethnic Armenian administration supported by Armenia since it took over the territory after the 1988-1994 war.

Grievances and counter-grievances go back to the First World War and the collapse of the Ottoman and Tzarist empires. An added layer of complication followed the break-up of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the emergence of rival territorial claims in the South Caucasus region. A still more foreboding historical backdrop: Ottoman Turkey carried the Armenian genocide in 1915-16 killing over 1.5 million. Present Turkish moves cast a sinister shadow for Armenia.

U.S.-led Convoy Attacked With ‘Guided Missile’ In Iraq’s Al-Diwaniyah

On October 1, a convoy moving equipment for the U.S.-led coalition in the southern Iraqi province of al-Diwaniyah was targeted with a “guided missile.”

In an official statement, the Iraqi Security Media Cell said the convoy was struck as it was passing near the town of al-Shomali. The cell claimed that the missile didn’t explode.

“The attack damaged one of the [convoy’s] containers without causing any losses, the convoy continued to move towards its intended destination,” the statement reads.

Sabereen News, a Telegram Channel close to Shiite armed groups, confirmed that this was the first attack with an anti-tank guided missile on a U.S.-led coalition convoy.

In the last few weeks, a series of attacks targeted several convoys of the U.S.-led coalition in central and southern Iraq. The most recent attack took place two days ago. Improvised explosive devices were used in all previous attacks.

Iraqi Shiite armed groups affiliated with Iran are allegedly behind the recent wave of attacks against U.S. forces. These groups are apparently working to develop their capabilities and increase their attacks.

These attacks are believed to be a response to the assassination of Iran’s Quds Force Commander, Qassim Soleimani, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy-Commander of the Popular Mobilization Units.

In the 1986 hearing of Jeff Sessions to be US District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama Joe Biden was one of two senators to drop the n-word in the proceedings.

“Now let me get to the questions in the 7 or 8 minutes that I have left, and I would like to go through the questions about three comments which, to some in the audience may be – we may be nitpicking as to whether or not you used a phrase which will come up here and again; you used the word ‘ni**er’ or whether or not you used the word – suggested that the NAACP was less than reputable or any of these questions that have been raised or will be raised again.”

This is part of a pattern by Joe Biden over the years. Biden had no problem using such an offensive term. And Biden frequently supported fellow Democrats with racist backgrounds.

Azerbaijan has acknowledged using Israeli-made weapons in its fighting with ethnic Armenian forces around Nagorno-Karabakh, where heavy clashes this week have drawn international calls for an immediate ceasefire.

Protesting against the Israeli weapons exports amid the heaviest clashes since the 1990s around Nagorno-Karabakh – part of Azerbaijan, but run by its mostly ethnic Armenian inhabitants – Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said "Israel's workstyle is unacceptable. The ministry has to call back its ambassador in Israel."

Israel's foreign ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Asked for details on weapons sales to Azerbaijan, an Israeli Defense Ministry spokeswoman declined comment.

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), a leading conflict and armaments think-tank, Israel provided Azerbaijan with some $825 million in weapons between 2006 and 2019.

After Hitler took charge of the fledgling Nazi Party on July 21, 1921, he spent lavishly on propaganda and recruitment.

There was no shortage of funds during this critical stage. The Nazis obviously had wealthy friends. But who were they?

Von Schleicher was head of the Black Reichswehr program. The Black Reichswehr program was dedicated to rebuilding the German army, contrary to the provisions of the Versailles Treaty.

According to Walter Schellenberg, Chief of SS Foreign Intelligence, Von Schleicher also advanced Hitler 42 million Reichsmarks during this formative period on instructions from Stalin! (Memoirs, p.43) (This probably why the Gestapo murdered Von Schleicher and his wife in the 1934 purge.)

Supposedly Stalin hoped Hitler would cause a civil war after which the Communists would take over Germany.

Court Extends Deadline for Netanyahu's Lawyers, Potentially Delaying Corruption Trial

Jerusalem court gives the prime minister's lawyers more time to file a response to the indictment against him, which may also delay the presentation of evidence, set to start on January

The Jerusalem District Court on Thursday extended the deadline for the filing of a response the indictment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption charges. The deadline had been set for October 18 and has been deferred to November 29. That in turn might delay the beginning of the prosecution's presentation of evidence against the prime minister by a month and a half. It is currently scheduled to begin in January.

Anti-Defamation League Circulates Petition Urging Jews to Denounce Trump

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is circulating a petition among Jewish organizations urging them to criticize President Donald Trump for failing to denounce white supremacy during the first presidential debate on Tuesday — though he did so then, and has done so, often, before.

The petition, which was leaked to Breitbart News, states (original emphasis, links removed):

In Tuesday’s Presidential debate, when asked a simple question about condemning white supremacists, the President could not simply disavow these groups. After their mention, the Proud Boys could barely contain their excitement. This is extremely dangerous.

We are gathering support for the Jewish communal statement below in which we urge political leaders and fellow Americans to unequivocally and explicitly denounce white supremacy, white supremacist organizations, and the individuals and groups who adopt and act on white supremacist and right-wing extremist ideologies.

We urge all our political leaders and all our fellow Americans to unequivocally and explicitly denounce white supremacy, white supremacist organizations, and the individuals and groups who adopt and act on white supremacist and right-wing extremist ideologies.

Jews as a people have a long history of being singled out, stigmatized, and blamed without basis during times of societal crisis. The Jewish community is not alone in experiencing these stigma. In times of great fear, uncertainty and unrest, the demonization of the other has had the capacity to encourage extreme violence fueled by bigotry, racism, hatred and antisemitism. Knowing the perilous reality of incitement compels us to call on all people and particularly all leaders to reject white supremacy and right-wing extremism.

Now is the time to condemn violence, not incite it. Now is the time to denounce white supremacy, not sustain it. Now is the time to encourage democracy, not jeopardize it.

Fox News’ John Roberts Loses Temper at Critics of His ‘White Supremacist’ Questions

Fox News’ John Roberts lost his composure during a report on Fox News Thursday morning, attacking those on Twitter who criticized him for the way he asked White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany about the president’s stance on white supremacy.

“For all of you on Twitter who are hammering me for answering that — for asking that question, I don’t care! Because it’s a question that needs to be asked.”

In the White House press briefing moments before, Roberts asked McEnany — three times — whether the president denounced white supremacy, and appeared not to accept yes for an answer.

Roberts first asked “for a definitive and declarative statement, without ambiguity or deflection, as the person who speaks for the president, does the president denounce white supremacism [sic], and groups that espouse it, in all their forms?”

McEnany replied by noting that the president had answered that question the day before, and on the debate stage. She also read a list of quotes in which the president denounced white supremacy, including one in which the president said: “In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy.”

She noted that Trump has “condemned white supremacy more than any president in modern history.”

That wasn’t good enough for Roberts, who followed up with a second question: “Just to clear it up this morning, can you, naming it, make a declarative statement that you denounce — that the president denounces it.”

McEnany, shocked, replied: “I just did.”

Roberts replied: “You read a bunch of quotes from the past. … I’m just asking you to put this to rest.”

McEnany, again: “I just did.”

She attempted to move on to the next question, but Roberts interjected: “Can you, right now, denounce white supremacy and the groups that espouse it.”

McEnany replied:

I just did! The president denounced white supremacy, the KKK, and hate groups in all forms. He signed a resolution to that effect. The president just last week — perhaps you all weren’t covering it — just last week expressed his desire to see the KKK prosecuted as domestic terrorists. This president advocated for the death penalty for a white supremacist, the first federal execution in 17 years. His record on this is unmistakable, and it’s shameful that the media refuses to cover it.

In his report later, Roberts attempted to justify his questions, citing concerns from “the president’s Republican colleagues,” some of whom (incorrectly) said on Wednesday that President Trump should have denounced white supremacy during the first presidential debate.

As Breitbart News noted, Trump did so.

Update: McEnany noted on Twitter that Roberts’s own wife, Kyra Phillips of ABC News, had reported the day before that Trump had denounced white supremacists in direct answer to her question on the White House lawn.
