I'm just used to saying the armpit since we have so many factories and refineries (the nj turnpike has a unique horrendous stench in areas from them all)
you might have noticed this is one of the few heavily Democratic states that has has little to no riots / looting (i think it's due to the mob having this state locked down) but that might just be wishful thinking
we have had black dudes get killed by cops in the recent times and tons of urban areas and no uprising like just across the Hudson in new york
