The Papacy answers to the Rothschilds because they have owned them since the first half of the 1800's. I've seen some folk mention 1870? Nah, nice try. The Papacy was stripped of its power over the Holy Roman Empire when the bishop of Rome was taken captive by the French. Then the last Holy Roman emperor, the one of Austria, disbanded the HRE in 1806. The Papacy was then hell bent on regaining control over nations that decided some form of democracy was better (and in some cases, taking up the control mantle once worn by the Papacy). The Rothschilds saw their opportunity to step in, and the Papacy took the bait. Together, the Rothschilds and the Papacy invented socialism/Marxism (Marx in the Jesuit school in the 1830's) to disrupt these uppity sovereign nations, and its been literal hell since, beginning with the Civil War, and all those thereafter.
