A few thoughts:
1) Highly plausible given their desperation.
2) Kind of calls into question the Q "we have it all" assurances…seems like the white hats would have seen this coming.
3) Federal crime…what is the penalty for an attempted assassination of a sitting President?
First thought was it was just different lighting. Looking closely though, different crease in the tie…more importantly, it's a different shirt. Shirt with purple tie shows collar buttoned showing shirt fabric above the tie knot. Blue tie shirt shows the collar without white shirt fabric above the knot. I wore dress shirts my entire life, and these are two different shirts. Why would anyone change ties AND shirts in such close proximity?
