The anti-establishment movement (hippies) who wanted nothing to do with wars and being controlled by "The Man" were all smoking weed and enjoying free love. Was it the weed that made them peaceful and at one with all? Living in communes, sharing what they had with each other and wanting peace. Enter Manson in '69 and then marijuana being made a schedule one narcotic in '71… coincidence?
