Anti-Trump Hack Reporter Chris Wallace Pushes Rumor that Trump Is Very Ill and His Doctors Can’t Be Trusted

President Trump announced late Thursday evening that he and First Lady Melania tested positive for Covid-19.

As a precautionary measure, the President’s medical team recommended President Trump be taken to Walter Reed for state of the art monitoring.

Earlier today White House physician Dr. Sean Conley spoke with reporters saying he is “extremely happy” with the progress President Trump has made since being diagnosed with Covid.

“At this time, the team and I are extremely happy with the progress the president has made,” Dr. Sean Conley said.

“Thursday he had a mild cough and some nasal congestion and fatigue, all of which are now resolving and improving,” he added.

But this wasn’t enough for the fake news media.

Immediately after the medical briefing the fake news started pushing rumors that President Trump is far worse than his doctors just reported.

Of course, these are the same reporters who believed every drop of nonsense crazy Dr. Fauci has been reporting on the virus since January.

Of course, Never-Trump conspiracist was eager to push this rumor this morning on FOX News.

FOX News has been pushing this hack on all their shows hoping to revive his career after his smears, lies and lectures during the Tuesday night debate.

Wallace chose to believe the rumors this morning instead of the actual doctors who are treating the president.

Figures.

McConnell Announces Senate Floor Activity Postponed Until October 19; SCOTUS Confirmation Hearings To Proceed As Scheduled

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has announced that all scheduled activity on the Senate floor will be postponed for two weeks until October 19 following President Trump's positive COVID-19 diagnosis, but that confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett will proceed as scheduled, beginning October 12th.

"On Monday, I intend to obtain a consent agreement for the Senate to meet in pro forma sessions for the next two weeks. Previously-scheduled floor activity will be rescheduled until after October 19th," reads a Saturday statement from McConnell.

"The important work of the Senate's committees can and will continue as each committee sees fit. The Senate Judiciary Committee will convene on October 12th as Chairman Graham has scheduled to begin confirmation hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court. The Senate's floor schedule will not interrupt the thorough, fair, and historically supported confirmation process laid out by Chairman Graham."

In response, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said "If It’s too dangerous to have the Senate in session it is also too dangerous for committee hearings to continue."

Ultra-Rich Collateralize Fancy Artwork And Penthouses To "Access Cheap Money"

Mortgage lenders have set aside billions of dollars for future defaults as millions of homeowners are in forbearance. This year, lenders have quickly tightened standards for average Americans, only dishing out loans to the ultra-rich.

JPMorgan is one bank that has temporarily stopped accepting new home equity lines of credit, or HELOC, applications due to a surge in delinquencies.

With ordinary folks unable to access cheap credit, even though rates are historically low, the ultra-rich, this year, have been collateralizing everything from artwork to New York penthouses to obtain cheap loans.

We first highlighted this phenomenon back in March, during the dark days of the virus pandemic, days after global equities crashed and credit markets locked up. We noted, "ultra-wealthy are increasingly requesting financing against fine art as a way to build liquidity."

So maybe, just maybe, over the past decade, the ultra-rich became massive asset gathers, using money that cost basically nothing, to purchase fancy artwork, million-dollar Ferraris, rare wine, and overpriced penthouses in top metro areas. That is, because, when shit hits the fan, these folks can leverage these assets to tap into cheap credit; and since these assets don't trade on major exchanges and price on a daily basis, aren't subjected to wild volatility swings.

Bloomberg is out with a report that JPM has issued a massive $42.5 million loan on an NYC penthouse owned by a Russian billionaire's family. The penthouse, at 15 Central Park West, is worth an estimated $88 million. Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev tried to sell the property but failed at finding a buyer, has decided to leverage the asset to tap into cheap credit, with an interest rate bearing 2.9%.

"The family tried to sell it a few years later as prices for ultra-expensive properties in the city had started to slip. Instead, they choose to leverage the asset," Bloomberg noted.

Armenia Says it Is Ready to Work for Nagorno-Karabakh Ceasefire

Armenian PM says he has proof of Turkish intervention

Armenia said on Friday that it is ready to work towards a ceasefire in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, where the country has been battling with Azerbaijan since Sunday.

Armenia’s foreign ministry said it “stands ready” to work with the US, France, and Russia “to re-establish a ceasefire regime.” The US, France, and Russia co-chair the Minsk Group, which was set up in 1992 by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to promote negotiations and peace talks over Nagorno-Karabakh.

Turkey has been accused of intervening in the conflict on behalf of Azerbaijan. On Friday, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he has evidence of Turkish support. “We have proof,” Pashinyan said. “They are using drones and Turkish F-16 to bomb civilian areas in Nagorno Karabakh.”

Pashinyan also accused Turkey of “once again advancing on a genocidal path,” referencing the Armenian genocide carried out by the Ottoman’s in the early 20th century.

“The situation is much more serious,” Pashinyan said when asked how the current fighting compares to clashes that broke out in 2016. “It would be more appropriate to compare it with what happened in 1915, when more than 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered during the first genocide of the 20th century.”

Turkey has also been accused of sending fighters from northern Syria to fight in Nagorno-Karabakh. French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that he has information that indicates Syrian fighters have traveled to Nagorno-Karabakh through Turkey.

The fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh entered its sixth day on Friday. Nearly 200 people have been confirmed killed, including 30 civilians.

71 Year Old Former Wall Street Trader Gets 5 Years In Prison For $20 Million Ponzi Scheme

A former Wall Street trader was sentenced to more than 5 years in prison on Tuesday for raising $20 million from investors and then spending the money on himself.

71 year old Paul A. Rinfret pleaded guilty last October to securities and wire fraud and was sentenced on Tuesday to 63 months in prisons. Rinfret defrauded investors using an entity he created called Plandome Partners, LP, from 2016 to 2019, according to Bloomberg.

Rinfret was accused of selling limited partnership interests in Plandome while telling investors he was using their money to trade S&P futures contracts using a "proprietary algorithm". And there's your first warning sign.

He used only a "small portion" of the money for investing, returned $8 million to previous investors, spent $30,000 on an engagement party for his son, rented a $50,000 Hamptons vacation home and bought $35,000 worth of custom kitchen cabinets with the rest.

According to The Daily Mail, he spent "$170,000 on jewelry, watches and cars; more than $105,000 on wine and other alcohol; approximately $12,000 on cigars; and more than $130,000 at restaurants."

On top of that, he lost $3 million trading, prosecutors said. U.S. District Judge Gregory Woods commented: “Mr. Rinfret’s crimes were reprehensible. They were properly described as brazen.”

Rinfret went "full Madoff" and also sent fake monthly account statements that reported false returns to keep his investors from making withdrawals and to convince additional people to give him money.

Rinfret's public defender described him as “genuinely remorseful” and said he had "lost everything", including his money and two of his three children who refuse to talk to him. His lawyer also said that his wife left him on the day of his arrest, which was also his 44th wedding anniversary.

Jennifer Willis, his lawyer, said: “He is a man who has been punished by the collateral consequences of his actions.”

Prosecutors argued for a 63 to 78 month sentence, despite this, telling the judge: “The defendant simply wanted to live a more extravagant life than he was already living and give that appearance to others. That’s it.”

Coincidentally enough, today also seems like a good day to remind people that, to this day, nobody has gone to jail for the 2008 housing crisis.

Backlash is intense against LA Times for news story involving Trump, COVID, Reagan assassination attempt

'A new low in American journalism'

The Los Angeles Times triggered a tsunami of backlash on Friday after publishing an article that seemingly jeered President Donald Trump for his coronavirus diagnosis.

The Times, one of America's largest newspapers, published a story Friday that was titled, "When Reagan was shot, country rallied around, but he hadn't spent months downplaying assassins."

The article goes on to say:

When President Reagan was shot and nearly killed by a would-be assassin, the country rallied around him. But he also hadn't spent eight months downplaying the threat of deranged gunmen.

Reagan grew from the experience. In his diary, he wrote he prayed for the man who shot him. The day fundamentally transformed the president's worldview. He believed his life had been spared by God for a reason — to reduce the threat of nuclear war. Do we expect Trump to evolve, to empathize more with those who caught the virus? To date, there's little evidence of that, but the example of Reagan might stand Trump and his White House in good stead.

The article was written by Los Angeles Times staff writer Del Quentin Wilber, whose bio identifies him "an enterprise and investigative reporter" — not an opinion writer — for the Times.

What was the response?

The Times was raked over the coals for publishing the sly implication that Trump was deserving of his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Many critics pointed to the story, and its framing, as evidence of why Americans do not trust the media.

"The corrupt media: 'Why do they call us the enemy of the people?' This. This is why," one person responded.

"Its people like you that will get Trump re-elected. Thanks," another person said.

"Just when you think the media can't go any lower, it does. Ghouls," another person responded.

"A new low in American journalism," another person said.

"Just when you think they've hit rock bottom, they start to dig," yet another person responded.

"Desperately unhappy people now own & operate many of our formerly great legacy media properties. For shame," Rasmussen Reports said.

"This is shameful. America is better than this …," Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) said.

"This is absolutely vile," another person reacted.

"I thought this was like an opinion piece but it's a news story? Just an insane way to frame this," another person said.

"Whenever I think I can't actually be shocked at tasteless framing from the media, things like this get posted to remind you that some media outlets are enjoying the @realDonaldTrump news. These people are unhinged," yet another person said.
