Iranian Fuel Seized By US For Venezuela 'Sanctions-Busting' Discharges In New York

 

Recall that in July the US seized 1.1 million barrels of Iranian fuel aboard four privately owned tankers that had been bound for Venezuela. This after a federal court deemed the move was lawful in accord with sanctions on Iran and Venezuela.

 

That confiscated gasoline was previously bound for Houston, according to top US administration official statements; however, it was recently rerouted, with at least half of it discharged in New York on Thursday.

 

Vessel tracking data shows that the Singapore-flagged Maersk Progress unloaded its cargo there, estimated at 557,000 barrels of gasoline, according to Reuters.

 

"The Maersk Progress was due to arrive in Houston last month, but changed its route. Euroforce, a second tanker carrying some of the seized cargo, has been off the coast of Texas since Sept. 9," Reuters writes.

 

Meanwhile the private owners of four Iranian fuel cargoes are attempting to sue and get the seizure ruling overturned in US District Court, basing their argument primarily on claims that the customers are in Peru and Colombia, and not blacklisted Maduro's Venezuela.

 

Meanwhile, officials in Tehran recently mocked the whole episode, claiming the seized fuel was not Iran's at all, stating that it had already been sold to international customers.

Even as the alleged Iranian fuel was being discharged in New York, Venezuela hailed a separate "victory" this past week :

 

Two Iranian fuel tankers have reportedly reached Venezuela with a third ship set to dock soon. Their arrival constitutes a success for the two nations sanctioned by the United States following an August seizure of such fuel.

 

The Iran-flagged ship Forest reached a Venezuelan port Tuesday. A second Iranian ship, the Fortune, entered Venezuelan waters Wednesday. The Forest brought 275,000 barrels of gasoline, The Associated Press reported.

 

A third Iranian ship, the Faxon, is expected to arrive this weekend; the three are collectively carrying around 815,000 barrels of fuel in total, the AP said.

 

More such maneuvering and controversy regarding cargo on the high seas is expected in the coming months, given Iran and Venezuela's deepening trade and military ties.

“I Am Feeling Well!” – President Trump Fires Off Tweet Amid Anonymously Sourced Rumor That He is Very Ill

 

President Trump on Saturday afternoon fired off a pair of tweets amid anonymously-sourced rumors that he is very ill.

 

“Doctors, Nurses and ALL at the GREAT Walter Reed Medical Center, and others from likewise incredible institutions who have joined them, are AMAZING!!!Tremendous progress has been made over the last 6 months in fighting this PLAGUE. With their help, I am feeling well!” Trump said in a tweet.

 

President Trump also tweeted about Congress working together to get another round of Covid stimulus approved.

 

White House physician Dr. Sean Conley on Saturday said he is “extremely happy” with the progress President Trump has made since being diagnosed with Covid.

 

“Thursday he had a mild cough and some nasal congestion and fatigue, all of which are now resolving and improving,” he added.

 

Dr. Conley said President Trump has been “fever free for over 24 hours.”

 

However, shortly after Dr. Sean Conley gave reporters a rosy report on President Trump’s condition battling Covid, an anonymous quote was sent to pool reporters stating the President’s condition was worse than said at the briefing.

 

Reporters claimed on Saturday that White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was behind the anonymously-sourced rumor about President Trump’s condition.

Daniel Korski: The Intelligence-Linked Mastermind Behind the UK’s Orwellian Healthtech Advisory Board

 

As a futuristic, hi-tech dystopia increasingly takes shape around us, the concept of the Panopticon is more relevant than ever as it functions as the underpinning of the ever-growing mass surveillance grid.

 

For those who are not so familiar with 18th century social philosophy, a Panopticon was originally the design of a prison building by an English philosopher named Jeremy Bentham. The Panopticon prison’s architecture would allow one guard in a central guard tower to observe every inmate without those prisoners knowing that they were being observed, and so those incarcerated were left to assume that they were actually being observed all of the time. This prison would, in theory, allow that singular guard to maintain order over every inmate.

 

Much later, in the 20th century, the famous French philosopher, Michel Foucault, would use the concept of Bentham’s original Panopticon as a way to describe and explore “disciplinary power”. According to Foucault’s work, disciplinary power had been successful due to its utilisation of three technologies; hierarchical observation; normalising judgment; and examinations. Hierarchical observation refers to the fact that the observer in a Panopticon can be of any hierarchical position within the observing body, meaning that a prison guard, supervisor, or a governor could be the person viewing the inmates. Foucault would also insist that the normalisation of judgement is imperative for disciplinary power to exist. The final principle, the examination, is used to combine the first two principles of the observations and the resulting judgements to help decide on whether further actions should be taken or punitive measures be applied.

 

Among the most notable of Foucault’s analyses of the utility of the Panopticon is the following quote from his book Discipline and Punish: “The major effect of the panopticon is to induce in the inmate a state of consciousness and permanent visibility that assures the automatic functioning of power.” In other words, the uncertainty of whether or not an individual is being constantly watched induces obedience in that individual, allowing only a few to control the many.

 

In addition to Foucault, the concept of the Panopticon has been vigorously studied over the past few centuries and it has special relevance in understanding modern forms of mass surveillance. The aim of many of the modern day state surveillance apparatus function under a similar doctrine to the original ideology behind the invention of the Panopticon.

 

The British GCHQ, the US’s NSA, the Israeli’s Unit 8200, among many others, are the all seeing eyes of national intelligence agencies who have longed for a way to watch their populations remotely, i.e. online, without their citizens knowing whether or not they’re actually being observed. One man has strived to be at the center of the growing global Panopticon, from his base in the Panopticon’s birthplace — Britain. His name is Daniel Korski.

Nicole Junkermann and Daniel Korski have many common interests in the big tech sector. In 2017 and 2018, they both began to invest and focus on mass surveillance technology and future healthcare-related tech with great intensity. If one didn’t know any better, one may come to the conclusion that both Junkermann and Korski had inside knowledge of a coming healthcare crisis, such as a pandemic. Conveniently for Korski’s and Junkermann’s investment portfolios, the current pandemic has become an excuse for government to take away our current civil liberties and implement widespread mass surveillance technologies on an unwitting public.

 

While Junkermann was personally investing with Epstein and Thiel in Ehud Barak’s Carbyne911, Korski was supporting similar projects in the UK. On 26 March 2018, Daniel Korski became the director of the UK registered company Panopticon Technologies Limited. Mark Austin, a former global board member of PricewaterhouseCoopers and senior executive at IBM. An expert in finance, technology and corporate governance.

 

Dale Murray, a partner in the digital strategy consultancy Founders Technology. She was a co-founder of Omega Logic as well as being another advisor to David Cameron on the “Business Taskforce”.

 

Max Chambers, who is also part of Korski’s Public.io and was a former senior advisor to David Cameron. He was principal adviser on all aspects of home affairs policy, including security, immigration, counter-extremism, policing and criminal justice.

 

There are two other important players who also played major parts in the creation of Panopticon Technologies. One is Mike Iiams, the CEO and President of Alcohol Monitoring Systems Inc., one of the leading electronic monitoring companies globally. The second is a man named Alasdair James Eli Truett. These last two men should be examined in greater detail.

Alcohol Monitoring Systems Inc. was founded in Colorado by Michael Leonard Iiams among others. Iiams would go on to be a very successful President and CEO of Alcohol Monitoring Systems/SCRAM for almost 20 years. His name would also be on the patent as one of the inventors of the SCRAM Systems Bracelet, a useful technology designed specifically for use by professional law enforcement. America has a well-developed law enforcement technologies industry and it also has plenty of problem drinkers. Police departments all over the country are equipped with some of the most state-of-the-art equipment available. One of the first successful forms of police technology to be widely adopted by many states was an alcohol detection system, which was used to track problematic drinkers who would commit offences while under the influence. This system was a simple tool in dealing with crimes related to alcohol abuse.

'Not interested in identity politics, not about skin color': Proud Boys leader tells RT group are just 'PRO-WESTERN' - not racist

 

The controversial club has exploded into the mainstream following the British clothing firm banning their signature black and yellow polo shirts and being name-checked in the US presidential debate by Biden and Trump.

 

The Proud Boys have dominated the news since Donald Trump ordered them to “stand down, and stand by.” The president was asked about them during this week’s live debate with Joe Biden. But the group’s most senior figure in Europe can’t see what all the fuss is about – he thinks they’re actually “pretty boring.”

 

Using the pseudonym J.T Rockefeller, he’s a small business owner in his mid-30s, and spoke exclusively to RT.

 

J.T said: “Our stance has always been, don’t talk to the media – that’s in our code of conduct and only I can authorise it. But we as the leadership felt it was a good opportunity to put our point across now. We’ve had lots of requests from the media but if we’re completely honest, one of my fears is we would be quite boring to journalists.

 

“They’re looking for something spicy, for us to say we hate this group of people and sell it as something it isn’t. Actually we’re quite boring, not to our members, but for everyone else.”

 

The reason why Trump was asked about the Proud Boys was due to their racist image of whipping up division and hatred. Their Wikipedia page paints that picture and newspapers label them a “hate group.”

 

J.T, who lives in Cheshire, northwest England, feels that’s radically unfair.

 

He said: “We are the same organisation across Europe as we are in America. We’re a men’s drinking club and a support group for men. If people want grassroots activism there is UKIP, if people want to fight on the streets they can join the EDL (English Defence League) – we’re not here to fill those voids. We do attract a certain type but we have a very robust vetting process. It keeps out undesirables, if people want to look for fights against Antifa, this isn’t the group for them.”

 

The Proud Boys chairman in America, Enrique Tarrio, isn’t white, and pictures show many non-white members. That aside, Gavin McInnes, who formed the group in 2016, has made racist remarks in the past. Also, the Proud Boys Britannia Telegram Channel which the group moderates does contain content which some would deem racist and provocative.

 

J.T explained: “Enrique and I speak on a daily basis, he is an Afro-Cuban immigrant to America. We have numerous members of colour over there and also in the UK. We’re not interested in identity politics, it’s not about the colour of people’s skin, it’s about their strength of character. We would be the worst white supremacists in history. White supremacists don’t even like us, they think we’re race traitors.”

The Absurdity of Covid "Cases"

 

Today's headlines announced Donald and Melania Trump "tested positive" for covid-19. Another claims nineteen thousand Amazon workers "got" covid-19 on the job. Both of these pseudostories are sure to ignite another absurd media frenzy.

 

As always, the story keeps changing: Remember ventilators, flatten the curve, the next two weeks are crucial, etc.? Remember Nancy Pelosi in Chinatown back in February, urging everyone to visit? Remember Fauci dismissing masks as useless? Why should we believe anything the political/media complex tells us now?

 

So what do these headlines really mean? What exactly is a covid "case"?

 

Since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, most US media outlets have been exceedingly credulous and complicit in their reporting. Journalists almost uniformly promote what we can call the "prolockdown" narrative, which is to wildly exaggerate the risks from covid-19 to serve a political agenda. They may be motivated to hurt Trump politically, to promote a more socialist "new normal," or simply to drive more clicks and views. Bad news sells. But the bias is clear and undeniable.

 

This explains why media outlets use the terms "case" and "infection" so loosely, to the point of actively misinforming the public. All of the endless talk about testing, testing, testing served to obscure two important facts. First, the tests themselves are almost laughably unreliable in producing both false positives and negatives. And what is the point? Are we going to test people again and again, every time they go out to the grocery or bump into a neighbor? Second, detecting virus particles or droplets in a human's respiratory tract tells us very little. It certainly does not tell us they are sick, or transmitting sickness to anyone.

 

Take a perfectly healthy person with no particular symptoms and swab the inside of their nose. If the culture shows the presence of staphylococcus aureus, do we insist they have a staph infection? When someone drives to work without incident or accident, do we create statistics about their exposure to traffic?

 

—A virus is not a disease. Only a very small percentage of those exposed to the virus itself—SARS-CoV-2—show any kind of acute respiratory symptoms, or what we can call "coronavirus disease."

 

The only meaningful statistics show the incidence of serious illness, hospitalizations, and deaths. The single most important statistic among these is the infection fatality rate (IFR). Data collected through July shows that the IFR for those under age forty-five is actually lower than that of the common flu. The covid-19 IFR rises for those over fifty, but it is hardly a death sentence. And the data does not segregate those with preexisting health issues caused by obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. If we could see data only for reasonably healthy people under fifty, the numbers would be even more reassuring.

Leftists Chant ‘F*ck Trump’ Outside Walter Reed Hospital – ‘I Hope He Dies!’

 

President Trump was in the Walter Reed hospital for less than 12 hours on Friday before leftists gathered outside to chant for the president’s demise.

 

Trump supporters waited outside the facility, praying for the president’s recovery. A contingent of his detractors grew, too.

 

“Fuck Donald Trump,” one woman chanted, waving her middle finger in the air:

 

“Your president is dying, ahh!” another woman taunted.

 

Others hoped for Trump’s death:

 

One woman holding a “F*ck Trump” sign admitted she hopes he dies.

 

“Wah, wah, your leader’s gonna die!” she shouted.

 

“I hope he dies!”
