‘Enough is Enough’: Iran’s Zarif Calls on World Community to Force Israel to Destroy Its Nukes

Tehran and Tel Aviv have engaged in a years-long debate about one another’s nuclear intentions, with Israeli officials accusing the Islamic Republic of trying to build up a nuclear arsenal to attack Israel, and Iran countering by pointing out that the Jewish State is the only nation in the Middle East which actually already has nuclear weapons.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has appealed to the international community to pressure Israel to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and eliminate its stockpile of nukes.

“The international community must compel Israel – which has aggression in its very DNA – to promptly accede to the NPT and destroy its nuclear arsenal,” Zarif said, speaking in a pre-recorded virtual address to the UN on Friday.

“And given its six decades of deception and clandestine development of nuclear weapons, it must be compelled to submit to the most intrusive inspection regime that law-abiding members of the NPT observe,” he added.

Accusing the US, which he dubbed “the world’s lone perpetrator of a nuclear attack,” of blindly supporting Israel, “the sole possessor of a nuclear arsenal in our region,” Zarif complained about Tel Aviv’s alleged threats to use nuclear weapons against other nations, “all while crying wolf about proliferation.”

The top diplomat also blasted Washington for its own efforts to create new nuclear bombs and lower the threshold for their use, and accused the Trump administration of ‘damaging’ the NPT with its decision to withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Russia, and the Iran nuclear deal.

Iranian officials have repeatedly accused Israel and the United States of being ‘the two main obstacles’ to the four-and-a-half decade old idea of a weapons of mass destruction-free Middle East. Tehran dismantled its own stocks of chemical weapons in the mid-1990s before ratifying the Chemical Weapons Convention in 1997 (which Israel has signed but not ratified).

Moscow: Berlin Refuses Consular Access to Navalny Despite 4th Legal Aid Request

Earlier in the day, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas refused to rule out sanctions against Russia if the OPCW confirms Navalny was poisoned with a nerve agent - a claim Russia has repeatedly denied pointing to Berlin's unwillingness to share evidence.

The German Foreign Ministry has refused to grant the Russian Embassy in Berlin consular access to Alexei Navalny who is currently staying in Germany after being discharged from the Charite hospital where he had been treated for suspected nerve agent poisoning, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added that Russian prosecutors had already sent the fourth request for legal aid to Berlin on 24 September, noting that the previous ones remained unanswered.

"We still insist on receiving a response to these appeals”, the statement said.

Moscow underlined it remained ready to an open, fair and fact-based dialogue, calling on the "instigators of the provocation campaign to demonise Russia and disrupt bilateral ties" to "come to their senses".

"A paradoxical proposition was voiced [by German politicians] about the alleged lack of readiness in Russia for dialogue with Germany within the framework of existing specialised bilateral mechanisms. We consider such statements as nothing more than a blatant lie", the statement read.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas earlier in the day told German news portal t-online that if Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny was confirmed to have been poisoned at Moscow’s behest, then there is no way around sanctions for Russia.

Alexei Navalny's Case

Navalny's health suddenly deteriorated during a domestic Russian flight on 20 August. After Russian doctors fought for his life non-stop for two days in an Omsk hospital where he was initially taken, the opposition figure was flown to the Charite clinic in Berlin for further treatment. The Russian doctors dispelled allegations by Navalny's team that he had been poisoned, diagnosing the 44-year-old with a metabolism dysfunction caused by a drop in blood sugar levels.

The German clinic, however, claimed it found traces of a Novichok-like nerve agent in his samples. Three independent laboratories corroborated these findings.

Navalny was eventually discharged from the hospital on 22 September maintaining that his 'poisoning' was orchestrated by Vladimir Putin.

The Kremlin has rejected the claims as groundless, extremely insulting and unacceptable, noting that no proof has been presented.

Trump Appoints Larry Elder, Tom Fitton to Trump Administration

President Donald Trump announced Friday that he intended to appoint conservative author and pundit Larry Elder and President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton to his administration.

President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to key positions in his Administration:

Thomas Fitton, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the District of Columbia Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure.

Laurence Allen Elder, of California, to be a Member of the Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys.

Fitton serves as the president of Judicial Watch, a citizen watchdog group that has brought many Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits against the government, and Larry Elder is a conservative author and pundit known for speaking about racial issues.

Fitton, who is also a contributor to Breitbart News, is well-known for speaking about his lawsuits against former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State and 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

He has used his platform to uncover many scandals and to cover stories that the media leaves on the cutting room floor.

Elder is an author, radio broadcaster, and filmmaker whose recent film Uncle Tom has deeply impacted Americans.

DC Antifa ‘Ringleader’ Jason Charter Arrested Again at #WalkAway Rally — ‘Cried His Eyes Out’ Waiting for Transport to Booking

Jason Charter, a DC Antifa activist who was previously charged with being a “ringleader” in the attempt to destroy the Andrew Jackson statue in Lafayette Square near the White House in June has been arrested again by DC Park Police.

A source who was at the scene tells the Gateway Pundit that he “cried his eyes out” following the arrest, while waiting for a wagon to transport him to booking.

Antifa and Black Lives Matter militants were protesting a rally organized by Brandon Straka of the Walk Away Movement, which celebrates people leaving the Democrat Party to support President Donald Trump.

Charter was arrested by the FBI and U.S. Park Police in July as part of a joint task force for his role in the destruction of the statues.

“Members of MPD, FBI and USPP have reviewed online open source videos,” the FBI’s summary of facts states, including “videos from MPD body-worn camera footage, and footage recorded by the Secret Service” in order to “identify the individuals who attempted to remove the Jackson Statue from its base and damage it, including the cannons at the statue’s base.”

The documents also state that on June 20, Charter “is seen … standing over the toppled Pike Statue, pouring an unknown liquid onto the statue,” the FBI states. “He is then observed waving others away from the statue, and squatting down behind the statue where his hands are not visible. Seconds later, the statue catches fire. Charter is seen standing over the flames as it burns.”

Charter has previously made headlines for assaulting One America News reporter Jack Posobiec.

Donald Trump Was On Oxygen Friday

…According to Report

12:07 PM PT – Trump was on oxygen Friday at the White House before taking Marine One to Walter Reed … according to a report from CBS.

It's interesting … Dr. Conley said Trump was not on oxygen today or Friday, which is in square contradiction to the CBS report.

11:30 AM PT – Dr. Conley is clarifying Trump's coronavirus timeline, saying the President was first diagnosed Thursday evening and claiming he misspoke when he said Trump was diagnosed 72 hours ago, which would have been Wednesday.

In a statement, Dr. Conley says … "This morning while summarizing the President's health, I incorrectly used the term 'seventy two hours' instead of 'day three' and 'forty eight hours' instead of 'day two' with the regards to his diagnosis and the administration of polyclonal antibody therapy."

He adds … "The President was first diagnosed with COVID-19 on the evening of Thursday, October 1st and had received Regeron's antibody cocktail on Friday, October 2nd."

Worth noting … Dr. Conley's clean-up statement actually misspells Regeneron. Rough day for him.

For his part, Trump's Twitter account claims he's "feeling well" and gives a shoutout to the doctors, nurses and staff at Walter Reed.

Donald Trump's doctors just gave the low down on his condition, but the chief doctor dropped some alarming information, including Trump tested positive way before he revealed it, exposing hundreds of people to COVID.

Dr. Sean Conley said Trump was diagnosed 72 hours ago … well, that would be Wednesday. That's stunning, because Trump was active Wednesday and Thursday … remember, he held a fundraiser with hundreds of people. He did not reveal he was COVID positive until late Thursday.

Dr. Conley just said Trump's doing "very well," adding he does not have a fever anymore and is up and about in his hospital suite.

What Dr. Conley wouldn't answer – if Trump has been on oxygen. He kept repeating Trump's not on oxygen "right now," but he repeatedly ignored reporters' questions as to whether he was on oxygen earlier. He finally said he was not on oxygen Thursday or Friday, but he simply would not say if Trump was ever on oxygen.

There was a gaggle of doctors and nurses at the news conference, but they dodged a number of questions, including how high Trump's temperature was.

Dr. Conley said Trump's symptoms were mild. – nasal congestion, cough, a temperature, and lethargy. He says Trump is in his suite working, telling doctors, "I feel like I could walk out of here today."

There are reports a source with knowledge of Trump's health disputed the doctor's assessment, saying his condition was far more serious and he is by no means out of the woods.
