What's the logic for wanting it removed in the first place?
Was memfarmer's mega link cancer?
Without that repository, isn't /qrmemes/ a good spot to deposit or withdraw memes?
I'm not getting the logic hereโฆ it seems to me to just be memes and we make and disseminate memesโฆ
You do understand that endchan gerbil and abcu are not linked, right?
Yes, I do know that, but also a thread is limited to 750, and unlike when memefarmer was doing their thing, it's haphazard. I don't go to /qrmemes/ I just assumed that a whole board of memes was better than one, limited thread with 750 max posts.
So what's really the problem?
I workfag and really don't have time for the useless drama. Neither do millions of others who come here - who are not keeping up on the drama and aren't here to vote either way. Many of us can't spend all day/night here and when changes are initiated one way that seem fine, then all sorts of drama and upheaval and only a few who are here "vote" it's disruptive.
QR has never ever operated on 'voting'.
If it's helpful to anons, keep it.
Is anyone really clamoring to remove it for really good reasons?
It is sucking attention away from research here?
Is having it in the dough as an option for a (larger) meme depository hurting anons and /qresearch/??
Sorry, just to clarify, are you saying that gerbil is a baker?
I'm not trying to argue with anyone or roll around in shit, I just don't understand the impetus for thisโฆ
Left whom?
And what's the issue with "memes category"?
Is there an issue with memes being categorized (now that we no longer have the mega library)?
I've been workfagging and I haven't seen an actual problem with that while I have been here.
Can you explain the problem with this? I'm really not seeing it.
Which seems better?
>one thread, max 750 posts
>entire board, categorized by topic, can hold many more memes
Erm, sounds like you are confusing some people - gerbil is different than old school war room lady (who worked very well with anons). Different people, different approaches/methods, skill levels and temperaments. Different people.
Working with OG war room lady was nice and productive. Working with (trying to) gerbil was a fucking nightmare clusterfuck.
ABCU is not a competitor, just an outlet for directing what anons write/show/make outwards to the public
