Nobody used to think twice about fatty foods back in the day. In the old days it was common to put vinegar on fries. Vinegar helps to break down fats and lowers cholesterol. Not sure if that was realized or just coincidence.

 

Vinegarettes, pickled foods, sauerkraut and pickles are beneficial and that’s why we crave these things in our diet because it helps break down the fats.
