The official term is "precipitation hardening" - most alloys are this. It is effectively the voodoo of metallurgy.

Traffic volume on here may be too high for them to be able to do it the same way. That, or there have been other means set up specifically to protect this board from similar strategies. Would be interesting to do an FOI request related to this board in the epilogue of all of this. See who had been granted funding to conduct operations on the domain.
