Re-watched The Hunt for Red October last night, and was thinking about Q stuff the whole time.

-Rig for Red was used in the movie, after receiving their orders, it was basically like going to battle stations

-Red October escaped harm by following a pre-planned map through a canyon, with timing down to the second

-To make the ruse of 'sinking' the Red October believable, the crew had to be convinced of their imminent doom and abandon ship

-Sabotage to the reactor cooling system on the ship seems to have been planned by Ramius to set up future events

-The enemy Alfa sub's own weapon was used to destroy them

-Ramius was the master tactician, outfoxing people on both sides to ensure the plan's success

-Ramius' motives were partly personal, and partly his duty to keep a war from happening. He only put the chances of success as 1 in 3.

All in all a lot of parallels to what is happening in the Q movie.

I used to read tons of Clancy back when those books were coming out, i.e. the whole Jack Ryan series. There was some news that Clancy had actually been picked up by the CIA at one point to grill him on how he knew so much and where he was getting his info. Apparently he was pretty damn close to the truth on a lot of it, but insisted it was just well-researched. I guess this would have been in the 80s or 90s. Not sure if true, but pretty kick ass books nonetheless.

I did a dig on this back when it came out. Some very close parallels to stuff we were concerned with at the time, for example Snowden in Russia, and the Skripal poisoning case. There is a real woman involved in these things that was very close to what Jennifer Lawrence was portraying.

Literally every symptom they have touted is a flu-like symptom. So if you 'have' this Covid, and are not sick, and don't even know….then is it real? I have a thought on this. I think they already know they will lose, no matter who is on the ticket. Therefore, put the candidate on the ticket whose skeletons are the most damaging to the party. The theory being that running for pres. offers him certain protection from slander and accusations, at least until after the election. But they have a plan to take the election by force, so it won't matter.

I bugged out in 2016, moved to the south pacific. Trump has given me hope I may be able to return someday. The point is, there is a stage where you wake up one day and realize 'holy shit this is truly a police state.' The follow on question should then be 'what am I going to do about it.'
