New Accuser Says Ghislaine Maxwell Gagged, Restrained And Raped Her

Earlier this year after Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested, her defense attorneys argued at her bail hearing that she was “not Epstein“ and that she was receiving unnecessarily harsh treatment from the court simply because of her association with the billionaire pedophile.

However, a new accuser has come forward to reveal how she was brutally assaulted and raped by Maxwell because she recruited a 19-year-old girl for Epstein but lied and told them that she was 16.

Maxwell and Epstein were both enraged by the incident, and both participated in the assault, although she says that Maxwell was the one who started it. She described Maxwell as “the real monster” in a recent interview.

The woman is afraid to go public with her legal name, but is communicating with media under the name “Samantha.”

She said that when she was 21-years-old she was going to school at Parsons and getting paid to recruit girls for Epstein and Maxwell. After lying about the age of one of the girls, she was called to Epstein’s Manhattan mansion where she was “gagged, restrained and raped” by Ghislaine Maxwell, before Epstein joined in.

She said that Maxwell began yelling at her in a massage room in Epstein’s home, calling her a “dirty, filthy whre,” and a “lying whre.”

“The next thing I knew she had a ball gag in my mouth, my hands around my back and she was raping me with a sex toy. She had taken my clothes off. It all happened so fast, I was stunned. She was using the sex toy on me and on herself then she called in Epstein and he joined in,” she said.

She says that after the incident, the pair gave her $300 and told her not to tell anyone, and threatened to kill her if she went to the police.

“I was terrified — I couldn’t do anything to stop them. I remember her giving me $300 and saying, ‘Don’t think about going to the authorities because you won’t be alive to see your day in court,’ or something like that,” Samantha told the Sun.

“When they were done, when it was finally over, I walked out of that door a very different person than what I walked in — I was in shock,” she added.

This was the last time that Samantha would ever see Epstein or Maxwell. After the attack, she fled New York to Los Angeles and is only speaking out now because Epstein is dead and Maxwell is behind bars. All these years she had feared that they would fulfill their promise of taking her life if she told her story.

“They stole my whole life. I had a bright future ahead of me and they took that from me. I feel like they took away my ambition, my drive and my future,” Samantha says.

Her attorney Spencer Kuvin, said that Samantha would be willing to help investigators build their case, and that she was submitting an application to the Epstein compensation fund.

Judicial Watch Sues California to Prevent Enforcement of Race, Ethnicity, Sexual Preference and Transgender Status Quotas for Corporate Boards of Directors

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of the State of California County of Los Angeles on behalf of three California taxpayers to prevent California from enforcing Assembly Bill 979 (AB 979), which Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law September 30, 2020. The bill requires that boards of directors of California-based, publicly held domestic or foreign corporations satisfy racial, ethnicity, sexual preference and transgender status quotas by the end of the 2021 calendar year. A Senate Floor Analysis says the bill draws distinctions based on race and ethnicity, and therefore, it is “suspect,” and that “the existence of general societal discrimination will not ordinarily satisfy courts.” Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit a few hours after Governor Newsom signed the new quota law.

AB 979 requires publicly held corporations to have a minimum of one director from an “underrepresented community” on its board by the end of the 2021 calendar year and up to three “underrepresented-community” board members by the end of the 2022 calendar year, depending on the size of the board. The bill defines “director from an underrepresented community” to mean “an individual who self-identifies as Black, African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian, or Alaska Native, or who self-identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.”

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit (Robin Crest, et al. v. Alex Padilla, in his official capacity as Secretary of State of the State of California (No.20ST-CV-37513)) the same day Governor Newsom signed the bill in order to prevent the Secretary of State’s office from expending taxpayer funds and taxpayer-financed resources to implement the law and/or ensure compliance with AB 979’s racial, ethnic, sexual preference and transgender-based quotas. According to the Assembly Appropriations Committee AB 979 “will result in ongoing costs in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to gather demographic information and compile a report on this data on its internet website.”

In its complaint Judicial Watch argues:

Any expenditure of taxpayer funds or taxpayer-financed resources on AB 979 is illegal under the California Constitution. The legislation’s requirement that certain corporations appoint a specific number of directors based upon race, ethnicity, sexual preference, and transgender status is immediately suspect and presumptively invalid and triggers strict scrutiny review by the court.

Because it classifies directors by virtue of their race, ethnicity, sexual preference, or transgender status, AB 979 can only be justified by a compelling governmental interest, and its use of race and ethnicity must be narrowly tailored to serve that compelling interest.

As California cannot make these difficult showings, AB 979 is unconstitutional and any expenditure of taxpayer funds or taxpayer-financed resources in furtherance of, ensuring compliance with, or otherwise effectuating the racial, ethnicity, sexual preference, and transgender quotas required by AB 979 is illegal.

We have learned a lot in the past week about the Russiagate anti-Trump coup plot. The dots are slowly being connected, far too slowly for those who would like the full truth to come out. But any progress in Washington can be counted as a small victory.

One important revelation was that the primary sub-source – used by British spy Christopher Steele to compile his discredited, rumor-filled anti-Trump dossier in 2016 – was linked to Russian intelligence. This was revealed when senators requested that the Justice Department declassify a footnote to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s 2019 report on FBI FISA abuse against Trump campaign aide Carter Page. Attorney General William Barr then provided a two-page summary of an FBI counterintelligence investigation into Steele’s sub-source, Russian national Igor Danchenko, which lasted from 2009-2011. Danchenko was a known associate of Russian intelligence operatives, but the investigation ended after he left the country in 2010.

Why this information was redacted from the Horowitz report is anyone’s guess since hiding it serves no national security interest; but keeping it from public view did at least keep that part of the Steele dossier coverup alive. In his testimony this week to the Senate Judiciary Committee, former FBI Director James Comey downplayed the role of the Steele dossier in obtaining the FISA warrant, but it is reasonable to assume that the warrant would never have been issued had the FISA court been given the full provenance of the document. No, the dossier was central to obtaining the Carter Page FISA warrant and all that flowed from it through targeting Page’s contacts and tertiary individuals, possibly including Donald Trump himself.

Senator Cruz says Chief Justice John Roberts 'despises Donald Trump'

"I think it is personal," the Texas senator said about Justice John Roberts' motivation to turn away from the conservative movement with his court decisions

Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz says Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts "despises Donald Trump," which accounts for a number of the decisions he had made from the top seat on the high court in recent years.

In an appearance on David Brody's recently launched show "The Water Cooler," Senator Cruz, an attorney and author of the new book "One Vote Away: How a Single Supreme Court Seat Can Change History," told the host that "John Roberts has become the new Sandra Day O'Connor."

Cruz said he agrees with Vice President Mike Pence, who in an interview last month, told David Brody that Justice Roberts has been a "disappointment to conservatives."

However, Cruz believes that part of Roberts' pivot away from conservative-minded jurisprudence is motivated by personal hatred toward the president. "I think it is personal," said the senator.

"It is difficult to come up with two human beings more antithetical than John Roberts and Donald Trump, in every respect," he continued.

In addition to the release of his new book, the Senator is presently gearing up to begin the Judiciary Committee confirmation hearings of conservative Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

He confirmed on "The Water Cooler" that believes, despite the challenges posed by coronavirus, that the committee has the capacity to move forward in a timely manner with the judge's hearing. Cruz also mentioned that Barrett, in a socially distanced form, met with lawmakers in the Mansfield room at the Capitol last week to prepare for the process.

Israel may halt its weapons sale to Azerbaijan, Armenian ambassador says

Renewed hostilities broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan on September 27, over the contested Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

Israel may halt commercial weapon sales to Azerbaijan, Armenian Ambassador to Israel Armen Smbatyan told the media, as fighting intensified for the ninth day between the two countries.

“In two or three days, they [Israel] seem to be on the way to stopping the supply of weapons,” Smbatyan told the Armenian news site Factor. He added that he had received a verbal promise that this would occur.

Last week, Armenia recalled Smbatyan for consultations to protest the sale of Israeli made weapons, including drones, to Azerbaijan, which have been used against its forces.

The Foreign Ministry said it would not comment on Smbatyan’s words or on Jerusalem’s export policy with regard to defense matters.

Renewed hostilities broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan on September 27, over the contested Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

Israel has strong ties with both counties and has sought to remain neutral in the conflict, but it receives 40% of its oil supply from Azerbaijan, making its ties with that country particularly important.

The commercial Israeli weapons sales to Azerbaijan have also made it hard for Jerusalem to maintain a position of neutrality, in a conflict that has threatened to involve the larger parties of Russia, which backs Armenia, and Turkey, which supports Azerbaijan.

Fuad Akhundov, head of sector for work with foreign media in the administration of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, told The Jerusalem Post that any reports that sales would be halted were “fake news” and he lauded the tight ties between his country and Israel.

“Israel is our partner,” as part of that partnership Azerbaijan had contracts with Israel to purchase military hardware, but that the contracts only dealt with hardware and did not involve greater involvement.

Akhundov confirmed Azerbaijan was using Israeli drones in its battle with Armenia, which he called the aggressor in the situation.

Azerbaijan, once provoked by Armenia, was simply reclaiming its territory and that its right to that land was supported by international law, Akhundov said.

“We are fighting not against the Armenian people,” he said.

It was his presumption that Armenia sought to involve both Russia and Turkey in the conflict, Akhundov said. Armenia has a military pact with Russia, through the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), by which Moscow is bound to come to its aid in certain situations.

ARMENIA and Azerbaijan accused each other on Monday of attacking civilian areas on a ninth day of fighting, the deadliest in the south Caucasus region in more than 25 years.

Some Democrats apparently find it hard to understand how ruthless and dictatorial their Communist Chinese business partners are.

In Kelly’s case, riding around China with a Chinese flag on his motorcycle was probably good for selling products and putting money in his pocket, but it also helped legitimize the totalitarian police state Xi Jinping is building. After all, if an American astronaut is comfortable waving the Chinese flag, can the dictatorship really be that bad?

Similarly, selling the giant Chinese conglomerate Tencent a role in Kelly’s surveillance balloon company offers the Chinese dictatorship an opportunity to acquire surveillance technology that will help it further control the Chinese people. At a time when the dictatorship has more than a million Muslims in concentration camps, is systematically destroying the culture of Tibetan Buddhists, and is imposing a police state on Hong Kong, offering surveillance opportunities through Tencent to Xi Jinping is a profoundly bad idea.

Kelly’s business partner, Tencent, is also an investor in the remake of "Top Gun" and it is a sign of the dictatorship’s willingness to censor Americans that Tom Cruise’s pilot jacket no longer carries flags from Taiwan and Japan. No detail of Communist propaganda is too small for Kelly’s Chinese Communist friends.

Remember that all Chinese companies – by law – are subordinate to the communist dictatorship – and Kelly’s relationship with Tencent is really a relationship with the dictatorship.

CNBC reported that 33-year-old, Tibetan-born New York Police Officer and U.S. Army Reservist Baimadajie Angwang was arrested Monday for allegedly “spying on fellow ethnic Tibetans while acting as an illegal agent for China.” Charges allege that he reported the activities of other native Tibetans in the New York area to the Chinese consulate there.

Lavrov: Doctors at Berlin Clinic Where Navalny Was Treated Found No Signs of Military-Grade Poisons

Last month, German authorities announced that a Bundeswehr analysis of Russian opposition blogger Alexei Navalny's samples found traces of a 'Novichok' group nerve agent. Moscow called the allegations odd, pointing out that before Navalny's transfer to Germany, Russian doctors treating him in Siberia found no signs of any poisons in his system.

Doctors at the Charite university hospital where Alexei Navalny was treated found no evidence from his samples that he was poisoned by any military-grade poison, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"Doctors in Omsk did not find any traces of chemical warfare agents, they honestly said this. But I would like to draw your attention that the fact that Charite clinic also did not find any toxic substances in its analyses; instead, they were 'found' later in the Bundeswehr's clinic," Lavrov said, speaking to members of the Association of European Businesses in Russia on Monday.

"We still do not know: did the French and the Swedes carry out the test themselves, or were they simply given them by the Germans. And the fact that our partners are trying to keep everything a secret, to muddy the waters, is something that worries us greatly. We want to find the truth and we will seek to do so," the diplomat added.

At the same time, Lavrov said, Moscow has no doubts that the European Union will attempt to slap new sanctions on Russia in connection with the Navalny case, based on a recently created cookie-cutter sanctions policy about alleged violations in the use of chemical weapons, which he noted require no factual basis or large-scale discussion by all sides accused of involvement to implement.

According to Lavrov, Russia's Western colleagues' policies, whether in cyberspace or the alleged use of chemical weapons, seem to be aimed at the creation of new institutions outside the United Nations or any other international legal framework, allowing for facts to be presented, guilt to be determined and punishment in the form of sanctions to be doled out without listening to the other side.

On Saturday, the Russian Foreign Ministry complained that its German counterparts had refused to provide the Russian Embassy in Berlin with consular access to Alexei Navalny since he was discharged from the Charite clinic. According to Moscow, Russian prosecutors have sent the German side four requests for legal aid for their probe into Navalny's alleged poisoning, with none of them receiving a response.

Moscow has also slammed the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for quietly providing the German side with 'technical assistance' on the Navalny case without informing Russia, pointing out that the claims of poisoning being alleged "took place not in Germany, but in Russia," and that Russia must be party to any objective investigation.

Last week, Navalny accused the Russian government and President Vladimir Putin personally of poisoning him, saying he can't think of any other explanation for what happened to him. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov shot back, calling the claims "groundless…extremely insulting and unacceptable," and revealing that Moscow "has information" that Navalny has been cooperating with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Intel Sources: CIA Director Gina Haspel Banking On Trump Loss To Keep Russiagate Documents Hidden

Haspel is hoping Trump loses his re-election bid so she can run out the clock on Russiagate document declassifications, multiple intelligence community officials told The Federalist.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Gina Haspel is personally blocking the declassification and release of key Russiagate documents in the hopes that President Donald Trump will lose his re-election bid, multiple senior U.S. officials told The Federalist. The officials said Haspel, who served under former CIA Director John Brennan as the spy agency’s station chief in London in 2016 and 2017, is concerned that the declassification and release of documents detailing what the CIA was doing during the 2016 election and the 2017 transition could embarrass the CIA and potentially even implicate Haspel herself.

“Haspel and [FBI Director Christopher] Wray both want Trump to lose, because it’s the only chance they have of keeping their jobs,” one senior intelligence official told The Federalist. “They’re banking on Biden winning and keeping them where they are.”

The Federalist first reported last week that Haspel had emerged as the primary roadblock to declassification of materials showing that the U.S. intelligence community knew prior to the 2016 election that the allegations that Trump colluded with Russia were themselves the products of Russian disinformation. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe released a declassified summary last week that disclosed that Russian intelligence officials were aware that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton had planned to smear Trump as a treasonous Russian asset to distract from the Clinton’s e-mail scandal. As part of her operation, Clinton hired a foreign agent who was himself working for a sanctioned Russian oligarch to spread unverified smears against Trump. One of the key sources of collusion allegations peddled by that foreign agent via the now-infamous Steele dossier was suspected by FBI authorities of being a Russian spy.

“It’s far more important for Haspel to block any embarrassment of herself or her agency than to have full transparency and accountability,” another senior intelligence official told The Federalist. “She’s just hoping she can get past the election so the documents will never come out.”

“This is not a source protection issue, it’s an embarrassment issue,” the intelligence official added.

Police and SES search Brisbane bushland for missing Federal Circuit Court judge Guy Andrew

The search for missing Federal Circuit Court judge Guy Andrew in Brisbane bushland will resume in the morning.

Judge Andrew was reported missing on Sunday after he drove in the direction of Mount Coot-tha, west of Brisbane, where he normally went for a walk.

His car was found later that day on Dillon Road in neighbouring suburb The Gap.

Police trail bike riders and about 40 SES volunteers spent Monday scouring bushland in the area.

Judge Andrew's family and police hold concern for his welfare, however police said they did not believe his disappearance was suspicious.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Judge Andrew was appointed as Townsville's full-time Federal Circuit Court judge in March last year.

In August this year, the Family Court of Australia set aside Judge Andrew's decision in a parenting and property settlement case, after it was appealed by a man who argued Judge Andrew was "critical, dismissive, sarcastic and rude" to his lawyers and tried to humiliate them.

The Family Court found Judge Andrew's treatment of the man's solicitor was "hectoring, insulting, belittling, sarcastic and rude".

Less than a week later, Judge Andrew was temporarily transferred to Brisbane to receive "counselling [and] mentoring" and for his sittings to be monitored, according to a court spokesperson in September.

A decision was due before Christmas on whether Judge Andrew would return to Townsville next year.

While we are all aware that COVID-19 can be a truly devastating and deadly disease for some, despite the volume of media coverage dedicated to it in the past seven months, the American public still lacks crucial context for understanding Trump’s diagnosis. Not only has major media coverage not brought clarity, but it has also, as usual, obscured reality. This is especially harmful to a story with such significant potential ramifications for the nation and world.

As the president himself has alluded to in his post-diagnosis social media posts, it’s common knowledge that the Wuhan virus hits the elderly especially hard. Trump is 74. Yet even among his age demographic, surviving the disease, not death, is by far the norm.

According to the Centers for Disease Control’s “current best estimate” based on the data so far, of Americans who are ages 70 and older, 94.6 percent who test positive for COVID will survive. Other countries have seen roughly similar survival rates. So the president’s odds are thankfully good.

They are improved by the fact that Trump is in relatively good health for his age and has the best medical care on the planet. In addition, medical professionals have learned a lot about how to treat COVID-19, and now have excellent success in doing so, especially when the infection is caught early. Trump’s was, since he is tested daily. Further, unlike the Americans who have been barred from effective coronavirus treatments due to anti-Trump animus, political correctness will not keep Trump from getting the best available treatments.

So while of course none of us knows the future, or can tell whether our president will against these good odds end up in the small minority of those who succumb to this disease, we have many reasons to hope and pray for the best.

Regardless of how things eventually work out for our president and nation, panic is never helpful. Panic impedes sensible responses to danger. Panic makes things worse, not better. Yet it is predictably what our nation’s media served up, along with a steaming side of wild conspiracy theories.

Why Is Fauci Wringing His Hands Over COVID 'Cases' Detected by PRC Tests?

Dr. Anthony Fauci was on CNN Monday morning, lamenting the number of daily positive tests for COVID-19. Of course, these are always called “cases,” which makes people with a medical background want to tear their hair out for several reasons. However, it is crucial to the preferred narrative that you think there are 40,000 new sick people every day. People who could need the type of sophisticated care being given to President Trump at Walter Reed Medical Center.

This idea is ridiculous, misleading, and alarmist for many reasons. First, citing “cases” of illness suggests individuals have symptoms of it. In a significant number of people who are testing positive for COVID-19, this is simply not the case. People who are not and won’t get ill receive a positive test result because of the way the most common type of test used to detect the virus works.

The PCR test does not detect a live virus. For a virus to infect an individual or be transmitted to another person, it must be capable of replication. The PCR does not measure the ability of the material detected to make additional copies of itself. It is appropriate to use the word material because the PCR test looks for pieces of the virus’s RNA. It does not require a complete RNA strand to return a positive result.

The CDC knows this, and so does the FDA. This knowledge is why the CDC no longer suggests retesting recovered patients. The agency acknowledges that a patient will shed virus particles incapable of being transmitted and causing infection for up to 90 days. When you add the research about T-cell immunity to this mix, it is possible to understand why there are so many asymptomatic “cases.”

T cells are immune cells that hang out in the lymph system, and some have a form of “memory.” They recognize parts of viral and bacterial invaders and are activated to eliminate them from the body by a complex immune response. Research demonstrates enough similarity between COVID-19 and other coronaviruses to suggest this reaction takes place in somewhere between 40% and 60% of the population.

As Dr. Beda M. Stadler, a Swiss biologist, emeritus professor, and former director of the Institute of Immunology at the University of Bern, noted that the same virus particles found in a recovered patient will be found in someone with an effective immune response to COVID-19 (emphasis mine):

So if we do a PCR corona test on an immune person, it is not a virus that is detected, but a small shattered part of the viral genome. The test comes back positive for as long as there are tiny shattered parts of the virus left. Correct: Even if the infectious viruses are long dead, a corona test can come back positive, because the PCR method multiplies even a tiny fraction of the viral genetic material enough [to be detected].

Reporting at The New York Times echoed this observation. According to a study done on positive samples in New York, Massachusetts, and Nevada, 90% of tests had very little viral debris in the sample, indicating that infection and transmission are unlikely:

In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds, compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found.

On Thursday, the United States recorded 45,604 new coronavirus cases, according to a database maintained by The Times. If the rates of contagiousness in Massachusetts and New York were to apply nationwide, then perhaps only 4,500 of those people may actually need to isolate and submit to contact tracing.

In the article, Dr. Michael Mina, an epidemiologist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, explained the problem:

“We’ve been using one type of data for everything, and that is just plus or minus — that’s all,” Dr. Mina said. “We’re using that for clinical diagnostics, for public health, for policy decision-making.”

PwC finds that climate tech startups attracted more than $16 billion in VC funding last year, up from less than $500 million in 2013. In total, $59.5 billion of venture capital flowed into startups contributing to the reduction of global carbon emissions, be it in the mobility sector or elsewhere.

As the following chart shows, the San Francisco Bay Area is by far the largest climate tech hub, with companies based there attracting $11.7 billion in funding since 2013. With five cities in the top 10, China also plays a leading role in the climate tech startup scene, while Berlin and Bengaluru are the only non-U.S. or Chinese cities in the top 10.

Liberals often mock conservative Christians for supporting a notorious sinner and philanderer in Donald Trump, but the Left has grown increasingly hostile to biblical small-o orthodox Christianity. Even the ostensibly moderate Democratic nominee Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. represents an insidious threat to the religious freedom of conservative Christians. Biden’s rhetoric and policies single out those who adhere to traditional religious beliefs and moral convictions, aiming to limit their ability to live by their consciences and ostracizing them from polite society. The most recent evidence of this insidious threat came last week, when a Biden staffer suggested that traditional religious beliefs that homosexual acts are sinful and that marriage is between one man and one woman should be so “taboo” as to disqualify someone from serving on the Supreme Court.

Politico contributing editor Adam Wren noted that President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett “was a trustee at a South Bend private school that described ‘homosexual acts’ as ‘at odds with Scripture’ & said marriage was between ‘one man and one woman’ years after Obergefell v. Hodges.”

Shadi Hamid, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, responded, “Wait, why is this news? Isn’t this the standard position for any orthodox Catholic?”

Nikitha Rai, deputy data director for Pennsylvania at Biden’s campaign, responded to Hamid, saying, “Unfortunately, yes.”

Hamid responded, “to be fair, it’s the standard position for any orthodox Muslim or Jew as well…”

“True,” Rai acknowledged. Yet the staffer insisted that this perspective must be marginalized. “I’d heavily prefer views like that not be elevated to SCOTUS [the Supreme Court of the U.S.], but unfortunately our current culture is still relatively intolerant. It will be a while before those types of beliefs are so taboo that they’re disqualifiers.”

Houthis Show Documents Revealing Israeli Interference In Yemen During Saleh Presidency

A spokesperson for Yemen’s Houthi-supported army, Brigadier Yahya Saree, revealed yesterday details of the links between Israel and former Yemeni President the late Ali Abdullah Saleh. The extensive but mostly clandestine links can be traced back at least to the year 2000.

Speaking at a press conference broadcast live from the capital Sana’a on Sunday evening, Saree highlighted that the Yemeni nation is confronting a Saudi-led military aggression, which seeks to accomplish the desired objectives of the Tel Aviv regime.

During the press conference he showed several documents indicating that Israeli authorities wanted to secure control over the strategic Bab-el-Mandeb strait, which connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden, Yemeni islands and the port of Hudaydah.

He also cited official documents which demonstrated that Saleh’s government had secret relations with Tel Aviv which included visits by officials on both sides.

Indeed, on 30 March 30 2000 the then president of Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh, confirmed that he had met with Israeli President Ezer Weizman after Israeli media revealed the secretive meeting had occurred.

According to Saree, normalisation between the two countries peaked in 2007, when Israeli diplomat Bruce Kashdan arrived in Sanaa to meet Yemeni military and security officials who were relatives of Saleh. The UAE was also revealed in some of the documents as actively facilitating some of the exchanges.

“The Israeli official left Sanaa International Airport on 16 July, 2007,” said Saree. “The visit had been arranged by Yemeni officials, and the UAE played a leading role in it. The Israeli diplomat had earlier visited Yemen on 2 February, 2005.”

During the visit, security in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab was discussed in addition to commercial cooperation and allowing Israeli products to enter the Yemeni market.

Al-Masirah reported that the document also mentioned the signing of an agreement that allowed Israeli civilian flights to use Yemeni air space.

Another document issued by the UAE Embassy in Sanaa, noted that a Jewish delegation visited Yemen and asked officials to naturalise approximately 60,000 Israelis with Yemeni nationality, 15,000 of whom had US citizenship.

The Emirati ambassador in Sanaa, Hamad Saeed Al-Zaabi, in a memorandum to the UAE Foreign Minister in 2004, noted that the “Yemeni-Jewish normalisation” was part of a larger scheme drawn up by the US.

Saree stated that Israel has constantly meddled in Yemeni affairs and continues to do so. “Yemen has long been the main target of US-Israeli plots and the ongoing onslaught clearly proves this. The Armed Forces call upon Yemenis from all walks of life to raise their awareness about the real intentions of foreigners. Our struggle is nothing but a fateful battle for liberation and independence.”

The army spokesperson also claimed that further information about Israel’s involvement in the Yemen war will be disclosed in the future. “We have other evidence of the Israeli military participation in the aggression, and it will be revealed in due course.” LINK

In late August of this year, it was revealed that the UAE occupying forces on the island of Socotra were planning to allow Israel establish intelligence facilities on the strategically located island.

According to the report, a delegation of Israeli and Emirati intelligence officers arrived on the Socotra Island very recently and examined various locations for establishing the planned intelligence bases. The purpose of such a base would be to collect intelligence across the region, particularly from Bab Al-Mandab and south of Yemen, along with the Gulf of Eden and the Horn of Africa. LINK

Dems Pressed For Virtual Hearings, Suddenly Change Minds When GOP Suggests SCOTUS Confirmation Be Done Online

Democrat leadership suddenly changed its mind on holding virtual Congressional sessions Monday after Republican leaders suggested that judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination hearings could be held online.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told media Monday that he and other Democrats plan to use “every tool in the toolbox” to delay Barrett’s confirmation, and will not agree to hold “virtual” sessions of the Senate Judiciary Committee, even though Democratic leaders in the House pressed for remove voting and “virtual” Congressional meetups back in March, amid concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus.

“The idea of having virtual hearings where no one is with the witness for the highest court in the land for a life appointment that would have such effect on people’s lives makes no sense. A virtual hearing is virtually no hearing at all,” Schumer said in a statement.

Speaking Monday, Schumer added that it is “not safe” for hearings to go forward because at least two Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who attended Barrett’s nomination ceremony last week, have since tested positive for COVID-19, though neither reports showing symptoms of infection.

Senate Judiciary Committee member, Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) announced that he was tested for the virus over the weekend, though it is not known if he had reason to believe he came into contact with the virus during the course of his Congressional work.

“If it’s not safe for the Senate to be in session, it’s not safe for the hearings to go forward,” Schumer said, referencing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) plan to delay all Senate business for two weeks, except for the confirmation hearings, due to start on October 16.

“Schumer said holding the hearings would endanger senators and staff, and he dismissed virtual hearings as insufficient for a lifetime appointment that he said could cast deciding votes on ending abortion rights, protections for pre-existing health conditions and more,” according to Business Insider.

Schumer also accused McConnell of ignoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines about coronavirus testing. McConnell fired back that the decision was made jointly with Democratic House leadership and Congressional medical staff to limit coronavirus testing.
