Can anyone explain why people with hearing problems are exempt from wearing a face mask? I can understand that people who need to communicate with the hearing impaired can remove their masks to do so (lip reading) but I don’t understand why the hearing impaired themselves don’t need to wear one. Does anyone have a rational explanation?
I agree with you. I don’t wear them. But this “exemption” is ridiculous on its face to me. I am wondering what the rationale was for making this exemption.
