The ads make sense because it takes money to run these servers. IMAO, if Jim and Ron want to grease their palms a little after all the work they put into keeping this place running, I really don't have an issue with that. I do take issue with those big names doing the same thing on YT and Twitter because often they take the work anons post here, and present it as their own.

 

Besides,

BO was very forthcoming with something many of us have known about for some time. This show is about to wind down. Jim's going to have to get this place back to normal at some point.

I went poking around this place years ago; long before Q. Haven't since then. If what you say is true, that's probably a really good thing. Some of the boards, I'm pretty certain, are only legal to consume in places like Canada. Just sayin.

 

Unrelated to all of "that", I do wish Jim well if he's looking to break into the news business. Being one of the best advocates of free speech around, Jim's sure to make something great of it.

I like reading about these. They really are "success stories" these days. My mom dragged me through 4 broken marriages. I managed to find a good woman, and have been clinging to her for 16 years this past September. Hasn't always been easy, but then again, it's not supposed to be.

Well, given how many trafficking outfits are getting completely dismantled, the content on places like /b/ is going to get stale really quick. Hell, I reckon porn as an industry is pretty much going to dwindle down to a very small market.
