800 Pound Meth Seizure Breaks Arizona Port Record

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Nogales Port of Entry in Arizona seized 800 pounds of methamphetamine and fentanyl being smuggling into the United States from Mexico. This sets a new record for the Nogales Port of Entry.

CBP officers working the Nogales Port of Entry on Friday observed a tractor-trailer approaching for entry inspection to the United States from Mexico, according to information obtained from CBP Office of Field Operations staff. The driver, a 55-year-old male, presented documents listing bell peppers, pickles, and cucumbers.

Officers referred the driver to a secondary inspection station where a non-intrusive imaging search of the trailer led to the discovery of multiple “non-factory floor compartments,” officials stated. A physical search of the compartments yielded nearly 650 packages believed to be filled with drugs.

Officers tested the drugs and identified approximately 800 pounds of methamphetamine — the largest such find in the history of Arizona ports of entry, officials declared. In addition, the officers identified nine pounds of fentanyl.

Area Port Director Michael Humphries commended the officers assigned to the Nogales Mariposa Cargo Facility for this record-breaking drug seizure. “This is an enormous amount of very dangerous hard narcotics that Nogales Cargo Officers prevented from reaching communities throughout the United States.”

CBP officials seized the nearly $2 million worth of drugs and arrested the driver.

This seizure shattered the previous record of a nearly 700-pound meth seizure from March, Breitbart Texas reported. The officers also found this shipment of dangerous drugs in false floor compartments inside a trailer filled with produce.

The officers arrested the 34-year-old Mexican national and seized the tractor-trailer and drugs. Officers turned the driver over to ICE Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.

Salvini Ally Threatened with Rape After Opposing Mosque

A female colleague from populist Senator Matteo Salvini’s League has received death and rape threats, many allegedly from migrants, after opposing the construction of a temporary mosque.

Silvia Sardone, who serves in the European Parliament for the League, received a torrent of threats after coming out against a proposal to build a temporary mosque in the Via Novara area of the city of Milan.

Social media posts and messaging apps allegedly show the League MEP threatened with being set on fire, according to screenshots seen by Italian newspaper Il Giornale. Another person is said to have told the politician: “We foreigners will come into your house and rape you.”

According to Ms Sardone, many of the threats came from foreigners. She said they “highlight, once again, that there is a latent hatred towards those who dare to demand rules, controls, security on the issue of mosques”.

“It will not be these threats of rape or death that will stop me from denouncing the [Democratic Party’s] submission to certain Islamic communities and the risks to the city,” she said.

“I have already instructed my lawyer to denounce this scum. I will continue to stand by citizens who are calling for the closure of illegal mosques, having listened for years to the promises of Mayor Sala and then be disappointed,” she added.

The Democratic Party (PD) in Milan has been alleged to have close ties with the local Muslim community for years. In 2018, the Mosque of Segrate on the outskirts of the city urged local Muslims to vote for the PD.

As Breitbart London reported at the time, the mosque told believers to vote for the PD due to the party’s support for the policy of birthright citizenship or jus soli. It was not the only mosque to tell Muslims to vote for left-wing parties that year.

Sardone is not the only member of the League to receive death threats. Matteo Salvini himself has been on the receiving end of many threats including calls for his assassination by far-left extremists.

Germany's federal agriculture ministry website said the outbreak has been contained to a 20-mile radius in the east German state of Brandenburg.

The latest cases were found in the same area of the first discoveries, the ministry added on its website.

A law firm which has helped to block a number of deportations has received tens of millions in taxpayer-funded legal aid over the last three years, according to reports.

Amarpal Singh Gupta’s firm, Duncan Lewis Solicitors, is said to have taken £17.6 million in taxpayer-funded civil legal aid in 2017, £15.8 million in 2018, and £11.3 million in 2019 — causing him to be hailed as “Britain’s legal aid king'”, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The newspaper also claimed that the firm has “forged a close relationship with charities that work among [migrant] camps on the French coast” and “boasted of mixing with senior Labour Party figures, including Deputy Leader Angela Rayner and Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy.”

The Mail suggests that the firm, which is said to have acquired clients including boat migrants and “an HIV-positive rapist called Victor Nkomo who attacked a woman in Britain”, has been operating in Calais in order to expand its customer base. Trump Receives Surprise Endorsement That Leaves Race-Baiters Speechless

Race-baiting leftists hoping to paint the president as a white supremacist were no doubt shocked with news Monday that completely busted their narrative.

Over the weekend, the National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy publicly endorsed President Donald Trump.

The law enforcement group sent a letter on Saturday endorsing the president and his law and order approach to fighting off rioters and looters that have caused destruction and mayhem in cities across the country.

The group’s chairman, Alan Alvarez, and secretary, Darrin Fulton, addressed the letter to President Trump, explaining why exactly he had earned their endorsement.

“The National board of the National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy (NLPOAA), on behalf of its member charters, has chosen to endorse your candidacy for reelection for President of the United States,” the letter read.

“The NLPOA-Advocacy supports you because of your fierce and unwavering support for the law enforcement community. In these difficult times for our profession and the repeated calls to defund us, you have continued to have our backs and voice your approval of the men and women of law enforcement.”

“The NLPOAA looks forward to working with you in the future on issues regarding law enforcement, immigration, and issues concerning the Latino community.”

Trump’s 2020 campaign announced news of the endorsement on Monday.

“Whether it’s left-wing rioters wreaking havoc on communities across America or the Democrats’ mission to open our borders to even the most violent criminals, Joe Biden is too weak to stand up to the radicals of his own party and protect the American people,” the Trump campaign said in a statement.

“In stark contrast, President Trump prioritizes safety and stability for all Americans and will always back our brave law enforcement officers.”

This marks yet another law enforcement endorsement for Trump less than a week after he pressed Joe Biden for not having one during the first presidential debate.

It is also an endorsement from a minority group, which is noteworthy in light of the numerous media attacks levied at Trump following the debate calling him racist and claiming that he refused to condemn white supremacy.

When asked if he was prepared to denounce white supremacy by debate moderator Chris Wallace, President Trump confirmed he was, responding in the same words Wallace used to ask the question. “Sure, I’m prepared to do that,” the president said.

White House turns down offers from CDC to help with contact tracing

The White House has declined offers from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help investigate the recent COVID-19 outbreak that has been taking the West Wing by storm, according to a federal health official.

The offer by the CDC to help with contact tracing occurred almost immediately after the President made public that he has tested positive for coronavirus. Despite the concerns expressed by the CDC, White House officials turned down the offer to help, the official said.

The offer was repeated in a phone call Monday, according to the source.

The White House has shown little indication that it is tracing contacts from those exposed at events like the Supreme Court nomination ceremony where almost no masks were worn and there was no social distancing both at the outdoor event and indoor reception.

In the days following the President and first lady’s diagnoses, there has been little clarity about how the White House is contact tracing those who may have been exposed at a string of events, leaving the work to the individuals themselves and ramping up the risk of exponential spread.

Some attendees said they have had no outreach and others have said, even when notified, they were not asked the slate of questions typically used to document who else may have been exposed through contact.

An administration spokesman, Judd Deere, said positive cases are taken seriously.

“The White House has plans and procedures in place that incorporate current CDC guidelines and best practices for limiting COVID-19 exposure and has established a robust contact tracing program led by the White House Medical Unit with CDC integration,” Deere said in a statement.

The White House has insisted a “full contact tracing, consistent with CDC guidelines,” had been conducted following Trump’s New Jersey fundraiser on Thursday.

The QAnon message being subtly, and sometimes not-so-subtly, amplified by the very same members of the deep state they claim to abhor, spurring some of America’s most powerful forces to join the movement.

A simple wave of Trump’s hand from his motorcade at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was enough for QAnon believers to race to their internet-connected devices and begin decoding the latest Q drops. These “encoded” social media posts spread through obscure internet forums like 8-Chan that are considered by adherents to be veiled communications from “patriots” with special access to the hidden truth behind the American deep state and what they perceive as its subversive campaign to destroy the foundational values of the country.

According to NBC News, “QAnon influencers” immediately set out “to decode the president’s tweet announcing he had the disease and [tried] to deduce clues from the statement’s use of capital letters.” QAnon devotees had apparently reached a consensus about the meaning behind the president’s illness after exchanging interpretations of Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis across their preferred internet forums. Unsurprisingly, their conclusion reaffirmed their unfaltering belief in “the plan” they assert Trump is carrying out in order to weed out what they believe is a satanic pedophile network run by the opposing party.

The “plan” has been unfolding for this quasireligious revivalist movement of the digital age since the phenomenon got its start during the 2016 presidential election as a result of a purportedly false claim made by a known White supremacist account “David Goldberg” on Twitter. The NYPD, he tweeted, had initiated an investigation into Democratic Party official John Podesta’s emails leaked by Wikileaks, where evidence of a pedophile ring operating out of a pizza parlor in New York City had been ostensibly uncovered.

The hashtag #pizzagate erupted all over social media soon thereafter and the narrative of reality TV star and Manhattan real estate developer Donald Trump as a white knight come to save America from “the swamp” in Washington D.C. was rapidly adopted by a freshly-galvanized nationalist-minded segment of the U.S. population, who jumped at the opportunity to subsume the biggest “conspiracy theories” in the United States (including the Kennedy assassination) under one grand and redemptive story for an America which Trump promised to “make great again.”

Q’s 2020 resurgence

With the 2020 election only weeks away, the QAnon movement seems to have gathered new momentum after the end of the Mueller investigation, which provided adherents with so much fodder that it relegated some of its popularity to yesterday’s news. The coronavirus crisis and the eruption of anti-police brutality protests have both converged to remotivate QAnon’ers and bring in new blood from as far away as Australia.

Police officers all over the country are among the growing numbers and, if we read between the lines of a 2019 interview in Vice with prominent expert on police law, Samuel Walker, we can see how QAnon’s inroads into America’s police departments could serve the interests of those who wish to re-make policing in the United States.

“We have 18,000 separate local police departments—15,000 city police departments and 3,000 county sheriffs,” Walker answered when asked about discipline standards for police officers who engage in QAnon-type conspiracies. “The only applicable national standard,” he continued, “would be Supreme Court decisions… But one of the real problems in this country is that we have these 18,000 separate, independent, local law enforcement agencies. And they do most of the work in policing.”

Israel intends to ban the buying and selling of animal furs, apart from those used to make hats for Orthodox Jews, making it the first country to do so, the Environmental Protection Ministry has said.

Announcing plans for new regulations, Environmental Protection Minister Gila Gamliel said the use of skin and fur for the fashion industry was “immoral”.

“This morning we launched an important initiative to ban the fur trade,” she said on Sunday.

Gamliel also said she hoped other nations would soon follow.

Special permits would, however, be considered for businesses selling shtreimel hats worn by married Orthodox Jewish men.

Animal rights group Peta “applauded” Israel’s move.

Israel’s Animals Now rights group said that according to a survey, 86 per cent of Israelis agreed that it was unacceptable to use cages, torture and brutal methods to kill foxes, mink, dogs and cats for “extravagant and unnecessary fashion items.” The minister’s move would save “countless animals,” it added.

According to the Humane Society, every year around 100 million animals are farmed and killed on intensive fur farms to supply the fashion industry while unknown millions are trapped and killed for their fur in the wild, mainly in the US, Canada and Russia.

Law Enforcement’s “Starlight” Program Is Really A Fusion Center Public Surveillance Program

The Dallas Police Department’s “Starlight” program is really a Fusion Center-run public surveillance program.

A recent WFAA-TV article explains that phase two of the Dallas police department’s Starlight program is expanding to seven more retail businesses.

The initiative is part of a public-private partnership involving DPD, Safer Dallas Better Dallas, Motorola Solutions and some local businesses. With the Starlight Program, business owners add flashing blue light, signage and install surveillance cameras that allow DPD 24/7 and real-time access to the video.

As the above video explains, law enforcement is using retail business surveillance cameras to look for ‘signs of criminal or illegal conduct.’

Looking for signs of criminal conduct could be something as simple as someone avoiding looking at retail surveillance cameras or obscuring one’s face to hide their identity.

“The Real Time Crime center can assess the scene and provide responding officers with up to the second information about what is going on, who the offenders are, who the complainant is,” said Major James Lewis.

Without much explanation, police admit that they are using real-time surveillance cameras to assess the scene or look for suspicious activity.

A “Safer Dallas” news release sheds some light on what Fusion Centers may be assessing.

“The software embedded in the system has the ability to recognize anomalies that might indicate a crime in progress, such as a camera being covered or tampered with, sudden movements by individuals in view of the camera,” police said.

So if a person was to look up and notice that a Homeland Security-run surveillance camera was monitoring their every movement and attempted to avoid being surveilled, would that person be flagged by their software?

The Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) provides real-time crime analysis using technology-based tools such as video surveillance cameras, Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR), and the Starlight program, to gather valuable intelligence and relay it directly to responding officers. The analytics for the RTCC are currently in use by DPD for the Starlight program and the functionality will be enhanced through the hiring of 22 new civilian crime analysts by spring 2020.

A 2019 news release also revealed that Dallas retail businesses are using Motorola Solutions “Aviglon” video cameras to identify people.

“The Dallas Police Department, Safer Dallas and Motorola Solutions today announced the launch of a six-month pilot program, the Starlight Program, that will facilitate collaboration between the police department and local businesses. Participating businesses will be outfitted with Avigilon cameras, blue lights and program signage and will be actively monitored by, and connected directly to, the Dallas Police Department’s Real-Time Crime Center using Motorola Solutions’ CommandCentral Aware software.”

Motorola’s self-learning Aviglon AI cameras will allow Fusion Centers to identify people or vehicles by their appearance. Aviglon surveillance cameras use their patented, “Avigilon Appearance Search” to identify people’s faces, clothing, vehicles and their license plates.

US, Russia Making Progress in New START Talks

The treaty is set to expire in February 2021

Arms control talks between the US and Russia resumed in Helsinki on Monday as the fate of the New START hangs in the balance. Earlier reports indicated the negotiations were not going well, with the US demanding unreasonable concessions from Moscow. But a Trump administration official told The Wall Street Journal that the two sides are making progress and could agree on the framework for a new treaty soon.

“This is the first time the US has heard concrete proposals from the Russian Federation,” the official said after Monday’s talks. “We have an agreement on the way forward in terms of form. Where we have a lot of work to do is in terms of substance.”

The New START limits the number of nuclear warheads each power can have deployed and will expire in February 2021. Russia has offered to extend the treaty for five years with no preconditions, but the US is demanding Russia agree to a framework for a new treaty in exchange for a temporary renewal of New START.

According to the Trump administration official, the new framework would include a politically binding commitment to freeze nuclear warheads on each side. The official did not offer any more details on the talks.

Last week, Moscow’s arms control negotiator, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, said the two sides were far apart on key issues. “We are not going to buy this extension of the New START at any price, especially not at the price which the US wants us to pay,” Ryabkov said.

Ryabkov’s comments came after President Trump’s envoy for the talks, Marshall Billingslea, threatened Russia that the price to extend New START “will go up” if Moscow does not agree to the terms before the US presidential election.

According to earlier reports, the Trump administration’s demands include increased verification, a larger scope on what warheads the treaty limits, and a commitment from Russia that China would be involved. Moscow’s position on including China is that any multilateral arms control treaty would have to be separate from New START, or its replacement.

The New START is the last nuclear arms control treaty between the two powers. If it expires, there will be no limit on the US and Russia’s nuclear arsenal.

Anti-Netanyahu protests resume at hundreds of locations around country

Hundreds pack Tel Aviv square; police warn demonstrators not to gather en masse, saying it would be a breach of lockdown rules

Thousands of Israelis around the country demonstrated against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in small groups and within a one-kilometer range of their homes on Tuesday evening, in accordance with lockdown rules.

Several hundred people gathered at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. A Times of Israel reporter at the scene estimated some 700 people were gathered in the square, with many more streaming in. Social distancing among protesters was inconsistent.

Police were mostly staying away, avoiding confrontations seen at the square during Saturday protests. Officials had warned earlier that any mass gathering in the city would constitute a breach of health regulations.

“Unfortunately, we have encountered calls by some organizers to turn the protest spots into ‘one huge march in the streets of Tel Aviv,'” police said, adding that this would represent a violation of the law.

The rallies at hundreds of sites came three days after the last protests across the country, when tens of thousands participated in small, socially distanced rallies throughout Israel. This in the wake of the passage of highly contentious legislation last week that banned mass demonstrations as part of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

At times orderly conduct gave way to more chaotic scenes of scuffles between protesters and police. Police said 38 people were arrested in Tel Aviv alone for “violating public order and attacking police officers.” All but one were released the following day.

There were reports of protesters being assaulted by opposing activists, with several requiring hospitalization and one person suffering a broken arm.

The Post-Pandemic ‘New Normal’ Looks Awfully Authoritarian

We’re told that life is never getting back to normal, so we need to suck it up and accept a world of mask-wearing, economic disruption, and social distancing. It’s a denatured echo of the warnings we’ve heard before that government responses to COVID-19 are pushing the world toward authoritarianism—but dressed up as if that’s a good thing.

That’s unfortunate, given that less-intrusive responses to the pandemic are proving at least as effective as heavy-handed ones. And that’s before we even discuss the inherent value of the freedom that looks destined to be pushed aside by public health concerns and by disingenuous government officials.

“As 2020 slides into and probably infects 2021, try to take heart in one discomfiting fact: Things are most likely never going ‘back to normal,'” wrote CNN International Security Editor Nick Paton Walsh last week. In his piece he discusses the likely permanency of mask mandates, telecommuting, reduced physical contact, and similar changes to life.

Some of the alterations Walsh mentions may be matters of personal choice, but a good many of them are imposed by “politicians who pretend that ‘normal’ is just around the corner,” as Babson College’s Thomas Davenport says in the article.

We’re supposed to accept our newly constrained lives as “the new normal”—in a phrasing that’s already very tired, indeed.

Actually, repeated references to a “new normal” aren’t just tired; they’re ominous.

How to Break the Kneecaps of Wall Street Sociopaths Before It’s too Late: Ferdinand Pecora Revisited

It is more than a little depressing to consider the impending systemic meltdown that immanently presses upon our current world. Since the 1971 floating of the U.S. dollar, a once proud and productive western industrial economic system has been increasingly asset stripped by bank deregulation, outsourcing, cheap labor and monetarism into a cult of post industrialism which has wrecked moral and economic havoc upon the world.

If America and the western order is to somehow find its moral fitness to survive and if a world war is to be avoided in the coming near-term future, then certain fundamental banking reforms will be needed. Among the most important of these reforms will be a breaking up of banking activities into two categories under a renewal of the Glass-Steagall bank reform which was repealed by Bill Clinton in 1999. These two categories would include: 1) speculative trash and illegitimate usury which must be “deleted” under a debt jubilee and 2) legitimate savings and other useful commercial banking activities tied to “real” values without which society couldn’t sustain itself.

Many readers might immediately scoff at my words, and assert that such a reform were impossible at this late stage of rot and corruption in western society but I would retort with the question: If this were so impossible, then how was it done already at a similar time of crisis only 87 years ago under similar circumstances of economic breakdown, fascism and world war? How have other national resistance movements blocked this sort of misanthropic agenda from succeeding in the past?

In this case, I speak of course of the forgotten Pecora Commission and an often-forgotten war on Wall Street which changed the course of human history.

What was the Pecora Commission?

Many are aware of the economic meltdown of October 24, 1929 that ushered in four years of depression onto America (and much of the western world). However not many people are aware of the intense fight that was launched by patriots in both parties against the Wall Street/deep state parasite of that age which prevented both a fascist coup against the newly elected Franklin Roosevelt while also crippling Wall Street’s command of American life. In spite of whitewashing revisionist history books that contaminated the past 70 years, America’s recovery from the depression never occurred without a life or death struggle and this struggle was made possible, in large measure by the courageous work of an Italian lawyer from New York. This man’s name was Ferdinand Pecora.

By 1932, when Senators Peter Norbeck (R-SD) and George Norris (R-NB) spearheaded the establishment of the U.S. Committee on Banking and Currency, the American economy was on life support and the people were so desperate that a fascist dictatorship in America would have been welcomed with open arms if only bread could be put on the table. Unemployment had reached 25%, while over 40% of banks had gone bankrupt and 25% of the population had lost their savings. Thousands of tent cities called ‘Hoovervilles’ were spread across the USA and over 50% of America’s industrial capacity had shut down. Thousands of farms had been foreclosed and the engines of American industry had grinded to a screeching halt.

Judicial Watch: Court Hearing Set about Virginia County Democrat Officials’ Secret Meeting on BLM Riot

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that a hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 7 in the Prince William Circuit Court in Manassas, VA, regarding the state’s open meetings law was violated by a meeting held by the Democrat members of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors in May which discussed the Police response to BLM riots.

In July 2020, Judicial Watch asked the court to mandate the Prince William County Board of supervisors to comply with Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act/ open meeting law (Gloss et al. v Wheeler et al. (No. 20-7521)). The lawsuit is being brought together with three Prince William County residents and their Virginia counsel, McSweeny, Cynkar and Kachouroff, PLLC.

The Prince William Circuit Court is considering whether the Democrat members of the board violated law by holding a meeting in secret, without notice to any Republican supervisor or advance notice to the public as required by law.

On Saturday night May 30, various protests and rioting occurred in Prince William County, resulting in numerous injuries to police officers and extensive property damage. Police officers reportedly used tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. The next day, a meeting of the police department’s Citizen Advisory Board was held. All five Democrat supervisors attended the meeting, but the board’s three Republican members were not notified of the meeting and did not attend. The individual who chairs the Citizen’s Advisory Board is the husband of one of the Democrat supervisors.

As explained in the lawsuit, the Democrat supervisors violated Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act/open meeting law by holding a meeting in secret, without notice to any Republican supervisor nor advance notice to the public as required by law. Virginia law prohibits any gathering of two or more members of the same public body if public business is transacted or discussed. While no votes were cast during the meeting, the Democrat members posed questions and provided directives to the police leadership to curtail the use of crowd control measures in future disturbances. As set forth in the lawsuit, this constituted a discussion of public business in violation of Virginia Code section 2.2.-3707(A).
