A guess: Sen Johnson suggested redacted document release, while POTUS said No redactions. Either it was a power play by Trump (with Sen Johnson playing a bit part to set him up), being the boss he is supposed to be, or POTUS waited to see who, among the Senators, was the big rat on the subject.
Is Sen Johnson a good guy, with a proven patriot track record, or is he comp'd? Blackmailed? Kept this charade going by withholding key document releases, while releasing lesser important documents?
