Got to do two of their shows in Dallas: one in 2004 when they were still with Sammy Hagar, and the other in 2008 when they had David Lee Roth back in the lineup
In 2004, I was taken with 3 or 4 other guys by our roadie to the stage exit where the band came off one by one; first it was Alex, who was tired, had his head down and didn't look at anybody; followed by Sammy, BEAMING smile, arms stretched out waving at us while we cheered him; followed by Mike, who smiled and waved, then finally Eddie. One of our guys offered his hand, and Eddie hesitated for just a split second, deciding whether or not to take it, then QUICKLY smiled and grabbed the guy's hand and shoot it.
