I finally got caught up on today’s drops and saw the video.
Something that stood out to me was how Trump is saying he is authorizing the declassification, but not ordering it.
He is relying on the people in charge of those orgs to do the right thing. Obviously the FBI is still fucking around. I don’t know if Wray is comped or not, but imagine trying to go into these shitholes where everyone hates you and your boss, your boss is telling you to declass certain things, but the only people who know where or what all these documents are - are the same people who hate you and your boss. Oh and because of federal job laws, you can’t just fire these people on the spot, oh and the laws that they are breaking, can only be proven by the documents that these same haters only know the existence of. You would seriously need an outside group to counter that level of malfeasance.
No wonder Durham is out west. If wray comes out tomorrow condemning white supramicists again, I’ll be fully onboard the fire wray train.
just to clarify, i know nobody here is a white supramicist, it’s just the boogeyman they like to trot out whenever they need to discredit someone or some group and is not an serious accusation.
Him just going along with that smear campaign just tells me that he is not someone who can be taken seriously or strikes me as a credible authority on violent extremists in America.
