This is good for their reputation. AND dovetails nicely with the only acceptable reason for classifying a document in the first place.
Don't be a conspiracy theorist – be a conspiracy analyst. There IS a conspiracy to hand the US (and the rest of the world, as well) over to new owners and the FBI is a co-conspirator in that.
They want you to continue trusting their judgment as to what should be classified and what should not. So they make the point that they know what is "national security" and what is not. That their judgment should be given deference over Senator Johnson's and that of the Trump administration.
