The Regeneron drug consists of two monoclonal antibodies, both directed at antigenic domains on COVID-19. I don't imagine there is much else - saline solution, a stabilizer or two maybe so it survives freezing.
POTUS communicates high likelihood of a rapidly improving Covid-19 outlook, pressuring the "other side" to act quickly and make mistakes, while also tastefully pressuring the FDA to act as expeditiously as possible on the Emergency Use Authorization.
HIV/AIDS - no, the spike protein is specific to the coronaviruses. The monoclonal antibodies won't bind to anything on HIV.
WWG1WGA!!!
Timing is everything.
Devon Archer, presumably. From Newsweek:
Archer and the younger Biden were managing partners at Rosemont Seneca Partners. Archer was also co-founder of private-equity firm Rosemont Capital with Christopher Heinz, his college roommate at Yale University. He had served as senior adviser to Heinz's stepfather, Democratic Senator John Kerry Kerry, during his 2004 presidential bid.
In 2018, Archer was implicated in a legal case that involved defrauding a Native American tribe and multiple pension funds. His conviction was overturned when a judge was "left with an unwavering concern that Archer is innocent of the crimes charged," Reuters reported in November 2018.
That's basically an immune reaction, an acute inflammatory response. Not necessarily deadly. There is bound to be some of that, but the risk-benefit analysis is likely to favor the Regeneron drug.
Hardly, but I get why you might want someone to think that.
