WAUWATOSA, Wis. —
Gov. Tony Evers has activated the Wisconsin National Guard ahead of possible protests in Wauwatosa.
The Milwaukee County district attorney announced Wednesday Officer Joseph Mensah will not face criminal charges in the shooting death of Alvin Cole.

Cole was shot and killed in February outside Mayfair Mall.
The city of Wauwatosa issued a curfew beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
It is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday.
Residents were asked to stay home.
No overnight street parking will be allowed.
All gas stations were also ordered to close.
Evers said the guard was requested to assist Wauwatosa police to ensure public safety.
