Dems are still strengthening the police this very second. Republicans are getting tricked with the whole leftist "defund the police" movement. Leftist city councils are intentionally defunding, sabotaging, and terrorizing policed departments so that all of the veteran officers will either lose their jobs due to budget cuts, or resign because they aren't allowed to do their jobs. Once all of the law and order veteran officers are gone, Dems will then hand pick all future officers who will follow the orders to confiscate guns, force vaccines, arrest conservatives, etc. This has been years in the making and it blows my mind that conservatives really believe that Dems would leave their own cities without law enforcement.
