Just how much of any of this is real?

How come we instinctively think some of it is real (for example all the alleged deaths of all the old people in New York) and other bits are absolute gimmicks, stunts and fake news?

The same law applies - we don't know.

If the same guy tells you something true and something false and you have no evidence before you that PROVES either story, which can you believe?

You can assure me all the deaths are true but from where I am, I still don't know if that episode is true.

'Proof' has ceased to have meaning. If documents can be forged, they can be double forged to make them look forged even though they really are forged. You can get two and three layers of deception. You unearth 'real' documents, 'real' old quotes, but they can be left there, years or decades in the waiting, to be unearthed at the right time - and still fake.

We can't comprehend how to verify Proof anymore. We're lost in the Matrix.
