Mercy cannot be earned. Anything earned is, by definition, deserved. Mercy, by definition, is undeserved.
Merccy is sought through repentance and turning back to God, our Creator, the ultimate source of all things.
"…and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."
Do we want a leader or a follower as president?
Pinochio Joe will FOLLOW the directions of the Debate Commission. He will FOLLOW the advice of scientists regardless of the stupidity of their contradictory advice . He will FOLLOW any bone or choccy treat thrown under his nose.
Leaders lead, they don't follow. They weigh available information, make a decision, and move forward - LEADING their troops, and taking the same risks that they ask of their followers, regardless of possible harm or reward.
Biden will never be anything other than a follower - when he gets a scent of money he follows like a drug-sniffer dog follows the scent of cocaine.
DJT has, at the very least, demonstrated an independence in decision-making, and a willingness to take responsibility for same, that places him in a leader category not a follower category.
