EARTHSHOT appears to be a 'gaming' company in the form of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (taking donations, of course) that exists in order to address the "messaging" issues of climate change through neurological programming via interactive gaming experiences.

Earthshot™ is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that will, through gaming and immersive experiences, expose people to an exciting and positive vision to solve one of our generation’s greatest challenges: climate change.

We chose the name Earthshot™ because we are recreating the excitement and positive vision of one our most ambitious technology challenges - the Apollo moon shot – to inspire people to use their own individual superpowers so they can:

Recognize they can make a difference

Become advocates for change

Transform the economy for a positive & clean future

We will replace this thinking:

Climate change won’t impact me, and I can’t do

anything about it anyway

With this:

Clean technology is innovative and exciting, and I’m taking action to solve climate change.

Inspiration, Not Fear

The current messaging isn’t working. Recent poll results of Americans reveal that:

47% don’t think climate change will impact them

43% say they have not seen changes in their county

28% think it will help them

While messages about negative consequences of climate change attract attention, we know that fear is not an effective tool for motivating personal involvement. We will not be building “climate change games,” but in our games players will experience how different choices can create a better future.

Our games and experiences can achieve what

other mediums cannot. Earthshot™ games will:

Reach a new and expanded audience

Show how personal choices can make a difference

Deliver an opportunity-focused, cleantech message

Motivate engagement through real-word actions

(typo is copypasta, "real-word")
