Know people who work in Port Authority. Been told that there is no way that we have the manpower to look at each container in those immense cargo ships that come into and out of our ports each and every day. Those same containers that get loaded onto trains and tractor trailers. The big banks have huge investigative divisions that work hand in hand with the FBI to track billions of financial transactions that happen each and every day, and they too admit they cannot feasibly track each and every shipping container. God knows what has been smuggled into our country via seemingly legit means. Not to sound dour, but it is a real challenge.
