So, Pickled Pelosi is threatening a vote on a congressional commission on the 25th amendment. Besides all the obvious and usual reasons this is all just bluster and bravado on Tequila Sunrises's part, there is the simple fact that a congressional commission carries no force of law. At all. According to the Congressional Research Service:

"While no legal definition exists for what constitutes a congressional commission, in this report a congressional commission is defined as a multimember independent entity that (1) is established by Congress, (2) exists temporarily, (3) serves in an advisory capacity, (4) is appointed in part or whole by Members of Congress, and (5) reports to Congress."

In other words, it's a performance. A circus. A shitshow.
