Ketron Island
I seem to remember that we thought he'd either taken out the decommissioned nuclear sub that we thought the C_A had sunk there OR an abandoned silo on nearby land. Don't think a conclusion was reached. We couldn't see the plane actually crash, just effects of explosion.
For sure - Richard was NO novice pilot. I think he did a barrel roll with that commercial plane. The plane had a Q. Unusual for them to broadcast conversation between pilot of a stolen plane and traffic control. We watched it. Forget - but was after either Hawaii or assasination attempt and we thought the good guys were taking out the launch location and getting back at the bad guys.
It was a glorious moment. Most hoped he had ejected before crash and was alive - at least we needed to think that. Wish I had a better memory…. But he really didn't sound like he thought he was going to die.
