The missile was trying to infect and incapacitate POTUS so 25th amendment would be invoked.
POTUS headed straight into the infection missile, went to Walter Reed and got a cure. Back to the White House in a few days instead of laying in the ICU.

So even though POTUS is healthy they have to continue their plan saying POTUS is not healthy or fit to serve (he's on Drugs!! how is that effecting his mental capacity.)
We've seen this over and over with them, once they put a plan in motion they have to continue, their comms have been shut down so they cannot adapt to POTUS's countermoves.
