Pssst! Hey you.

These elements have been here the whole fucking time and yet because of fear and apathy, no one would listen until they became deeply entrenched enough to do damage.

They were always dividing and attacking anyone who challenged their "authority".

They all had something in common.

They all came to the defense of one thing.

Do you know what that one thing is?

I guess that is one way to put it and you are correct yet it can be narrowed down to just one thing, specifically.

One thing that most do not dig into so they did not experience the coordinated resistance to this one thing.

You simply never know until you go and see it for yourself.

Trying hard today are we?

Don't worry as I will not disclose what this one thing is yet just like with Q, you can guess it.

Abuse survivors despair as Pell conspiracy breaks cover

By Chip Le Grand and Pat Stringa

October 9, 2020 — 11.30pm

At the mention of George Pell, the old man became enraged.

The Italian Monsignor had been sitting quietly beneath the baroque arches of a 17th century dining room, waiting for his guests to arrive for Sunday lunch, when a visiting Australian priest made the mistake of name-dropping the Cardinal.

"Pell, what is he doing here?’’ the normally affable Monsignor shouted. “He is imposing your ways on our ways.

“We have our ways of doing things.’’

Peter J. Elliott, an auxiliary bishop from Melbourne who previously worked for 10 years inside the Vatican, says he retreated to his own table without saying a word in response. “I sat down and thought ‘Oh George, you are in trouble.’''

Such was the venom in the Monsignor’s comments, Bishop Elliott made a note of them in his diary: July 5, 2015. He has since become convinced that Pell’s enemies within the Vatican, possibly with the help of the mafia, were the hidden hand in his prosecution and jailing for historical child sex offences.

This conspiracy theory, previously only held to by Cardinal Pell's most ardent supporters, has broken into the open with Italian newspaper reports that 700,000 euros ($1.2 million) in Vatican funds were transferred to Australia to influence witness testimony against Pell.

According to those who subscribe to the theory, this was done not to bring Pell to justice but to throw him nel fango – in the mud – and prevent him from cleaning up the Vatican’s finances and exposing corruption within the church.

“He went into a situation where they were going to fight him and they got him," says Bishop Elliott, now retired. “I believe he was punished. Now it is up to an inquiry to prove it.’’

Chrissie Foster also wants an inquiry.

She lives far removed from the splendour of the Domus Paulus xi, a residence for Catholic clergy in the ancient centre of Rome where Bishop Elliott had his run-in with the now dead Monsignor.

The mother of two daughters who were sexually abused by a Catholic priest known by the church to be a paedophile, Foster says the suggestion implicit in the Italian media reports is deeply offensive and potentially damaging to abuse survivors and should not be left to stand.

“They are saying the witnesses are corrupt. How are you

supposed to take that?

Hell to pay in the clash of the cardinals George Pell and Giovanni

Becciu

By PAOLA TOTARO and JOHN FERGUSON

AN HOUR AGO OCTOBER 9, 2020

It was an afternoon early in 2017 and Cardinal George Pell, appointed to oversee Pope Francis’s reforms of the Holy See’s antiquated and sclerotic financial systems, appeared relieved and even proud as he closed his office door and turned out the light.

“They’re nervous, we’ve got them on the ropes … we were asked to clean up the stables and we must try to deliver,” he said.

Pell had been in Rome for three years, leading the work of the powerful Secretariat for the Economy, and had just finished a particularly intense period of arduous meetings, interviews and heated discussions behind closed doors.

Installing the brusque, unpopular Australian cardinal in the engine room of a Vatican financial clean-up had been one of Pope Francis’s first reformist acts. For the first time, some of the most senior Roman Curia, those who had long handled and dealt with the Vatican’s money without any external oversight, would have to report to a brash outsider, and a non-Italian to boot.

Pell had moved swiftly after his 2014 appointment, firing his first salvo in December that year by revealing to Britain’s Catholic Herald he had discovered “some hundreds of millions of euros tucked away in particular sectional accounts which did not appear on the balance sheet”.

In an essay outlining his vision for the Vatican, he wrote that his discovery made it clear the Vatican’s finances were in better shape than previously suggested and, while he implied no wrongdoing, he also issued a veiled warning that too many of the Holy See’s departments had had “an almost free hand with their finances” and for too long.

Writing in English, which added insult to injury, Pell stated that the Pope’s reforms were now “well under way and already past the point where the Vatican could return to the ‘bad old days’.” He later publicised the appointment of his own trusted team, among them several Australians and hand-picked, high-profile accounting and finance specialists.

Catholic bishop says Pope Francis is deeply concerned about

German Church

CNA Staff, Oct 9, 2020 / 06:00 am MT (CNA).- Pope Francis has expressed “dramatic concern” about the Catholic Church in Germany, according to a bishop who met him this week.

Bishop Heinz-Josef Algermissen said that the pope addressed the situation in Germany when he spoke to him after the general audience Oct. 7.

The former bishop of Fulda, in the west-central German state of Hesse, said that the pope recalled the letter he wrote to German Catholics in June 2019, urging them to focus on evangelization. Francis reportedly complained that his message had been ignored.

The pope issued the letter amid concerns at the Vatican over the German Church’s “Synodal Way,” which is bringing together lay people and bishops to discuss four main topics: the way power is exercised in the Church; sexual morality; the priesthood; and the role of women.

The Vatican intervened after the German bishops said that the process would end with a series of “binding” votes, ruling that the plans were “not ecclesiologically valid.”

The Fuldaer Zeitung reported that the pope told Algermissen that the “Synodal Way” was too focused on “political questions,” such as the position of women in the Church and priestly celibacy.

Algermissen said that the pope urged him “very clearly and expressively” to “make sure that the letter is remembered.”

The 77-year-old bishop said that everywhere he went he was asked: “What is going on in Germany?” He added that the perception in Rome was that the path being pursued by the German Church “deforms and distorts” the Gospel, reported CNA Deutsch, CNA’s German-language news partner.

Algermissen’s comments echoed those of Vatican Cardinal Kurt Koch, who said last month that the pope had expressed his concern about the Church in Germany “in personal conversations.”

In a Sept. 22 interview with the magazine Herder Korrespondenz, Koch said he believed that the pope backed a recent intervention by the Vatican’s doctrinal office in a debate over intercommunion between Catholics and Protestants in Germany.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) wrote Sept. 18 to Bishop Georg Bätzing, president of the German bishops’ conference, saying that a proposal for a “Eucharistic meal fellowship” would harm relations with Orthodox Churches.

Bätzing insisted that Francis “appreciates” the “Synodal Way” after a private audience with the pope in June.

“I feel strengthened by the intensive exchange with the Holy Father to continue on the path we have taken. The pope appreciates this project, which he associates closely with the concept of ‘synodality’ which he coined,” he said.

Other German Church leaders have voiced misgivings about the “Synodal Way.” Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki of Cologne said last month that the worst outcome would be if the process “leads to a split and thereby outside of the Church, out of communion with the universal Church.”

Bätzing downplayed the cardinal’s concerns, insisting that the Church in Germany is “part of the Universal Church and nothing will change that.”

In his letter to German Catholics, the pope spoke of a “growing erosion and deterioration of faith.”

“Every time an ecclesial community has tried to get out of its problems alone, relying solely on its own strengths, methods and intelligence, it has ended up multiplying and nurturing the evils it wanted to overcome,” he wrote.

Who trained Castro?

Meet Maximo Alvarez

Maximo Alvarez was born in Cuba, the son of a Spanish refugee from the Spanish Civil War whose emigration he attributed to communism.

He was evacuated to the United States at the age of 13 during Operation Pedro Pan, fleeing the Cuban Revolution;

he remembered many other Cubans his age who had "swallowed the communist poison pill" and starved or died as a result.

He went on to become a businessman in Florida, becoming President of Sunshine Gasoline. On 24 August 2020,

he spoke at the Republican National Convention to condemn the Democrats, saying that their economic policies did not sound "radical" to him, but "familiar".

He also claimed that Joe Biden was "mostly concerned about power…but not for the benefit of all Americans,"

and he said that he saw history being rewritten amid the George Floyd protests, claiming that they were echoes of a former life that he did not want to live again.

He also praised Donald Trump and warned voters that it was up to America to choose "freedom over oppression", claiming that Trump was "fighting the forces of anarchy and communism"

and that Biden would "hand the country over to those dangerous forces."
