The one based on that documentary was in San Francisco, but I read about them all over the place.

Its all riddles, puzzles, and brain work, like Q and Cicada, all put into a real life easter egg hunt in whatever city of choice.

Kinda sad I never encountered one of them to be honest, they looked like fun.
