Regarding the exhaust trail being mostly light and minimal smoke. Being twilight when the webcam image was taken and from a distance perhaps only the light was visible.
The one thing that does not make sense to me is this: The trail is long implying a slow shutter speed, yet the missile itself is clear and does not appear blurred at all. Thoughts on that?
