Watch the video, and can see the "dead guy" is already stepping backward as the shot is fired. So makes sense to land on butt and continue on down, inertia was already heading in that direction before the shot.

>So we have two casings in the same shot. One look like like a casing should (one in the air) and one looks a little too long.
>This fits with mt theory about load a blank as the first round. I've never heard of anyone doing that. I wouldn't think it would be work to reliably cycle the action.
Actually anon, at times I carry with a snap-cap in the chamber, and first Live Round in the Mag.
This way, you know you need to cycle in order to clear the cap and load a live round, but a Perp who could grab your weapon in an altercation and use against you wouldn't know that. Also moves from a single action to double action scenario for some weapons (not sure about glocks - Sig shooter here).
Is there audio of the slide being racked before the first live_or_blank round is fired?
>This was a very fast shutter speed.
Wonder if the EXIF data is available via Getty, will take a look.
Usually includes Shutter Speed, Aperture, lens, Camera Model, etc.
>There is a sound at :36 that could conceivably be a slide racking:
Interesting, it's right after 'dead guy' leaves the frame and heads that direction. Seems rather quick, and several seconds from the 'kill shot', but could be. Would be interesting to know how long gun was held drawn prior to the 'kill shot'.
Also, if snap cap, slide is racked as part of the draw motion (practice this w/ dry fire and snap caps).
