slap, slap-back, in English, isn't just about physical slapping wiht a hand. It is used allegorically to indicate a disapproval in a way that also implies the other is not doing a good job, or working for the team.

you can go on line and 'visit' ancient monuments.

get book on Latin and go read graves and monuments. you'll find out more like that.

visit online historic sites and screen cap the inscriptions and learn how to read them.

for example I'm still tyring to decypher something but I don't know the abbreviations, about a year, and I looked up the person but the date given was 200 years previous (as if someone had misread the Latin and all those internet plagerizers did not even bother to check the real source.

Or maybe the picture I found in a video of the memorial . . . was the only place that information exists.

I think once you start learning the different narratives about histoyr you'll find out that there is a lot of accuracy available, but a lot of bad information also exists.

for example: how would I read this ? any Latin translators want to tell me what this line, on a memorial, means?

decissit KAI . DECEMB . A . MDCCCLXVIII A . N . LVI . M . VII . D . XIX

I know decissit means 'disceased' or something like that, like 'she died'

I get what DECEMB is.

I see the year in the 1868

the rest of it I see on other monumnets, but I haven't found a source that will tell me what the abbriviations mean.

when vexed it's best to rest and meditate until your faith restores your sense of well being and then you venture forth and do the work of a fellow servant.

don't let worry wear you don't.

make sure you shut it all off when it bugs you and go the source that helps you heal and revitalize. ; >
