"This is Lee Keltner. He is the victim of the Denver shooting. He made cowboy hats. He was murdered by "just an idea."
The Denver Post ran a business profile on Lee in 2015."

"Interview with Lee Keltner, hatter
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: It was around this time of year in 1994 and I needed a job, so my dad told me to go down to the stock show and see what I could find. I went there and did odd jobs around the stock show for a while. Then I learned from one of my employers that there was a space open at OโFarrell Hats in Durango. I didnโt have a job, but my pregnant wife and I just went on a prayer that I would be hired, and I was. When you work behind the hat counter, itโs pretty much because of addiction. It gets in your blood and you get a passion for it. Itโs an art, like painting, and I just kept doing it. Iโm lucky that Iโve been able to make a living out of it for 21 years now."
