Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore said Sunday on MSNBC attempting to overturn Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case that ruled in favor of the right to abortion is an “act of violence.”

While discussing the Michigan Militia members accused of plot to violently overthrow the state government by kidnaping Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), Moore said, “I just want to say that there are other acts of violence that we need to be talking about leading up to this election. Paying people $7.25 an hour is an act of violence. Going to the Supreme Court to get rid of Obamacare so that millions will be uninsured and die as a result, that is an act of violence. Saying that we want to take away Roe v. Wade when 70% of the country supports Roe v. Wade and forcing women back into back-alley abortions, that is an act of violence. And who is doing this?”

“These white men, Trump are committing the acts of violence and we need to see them as that,” he continued. “And I think that if we kind of wrap our heads around that and realize that we’re the majority, that Biden and Harris are out there and they are telling us that they are going to do things for the people. Don’t we all believe, first of all, just with the coronavirus that we’ll be in better shape come January? That at least there will be a plan and there will be action and we’re going to do what Germany did and these other countries did and get rid of this damn thing?”

19-Year-Old Florida Man Charged With 100 Counts of Child Pornography

TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 19-year-old after detectives found he was in possession of child pornography.

After receiving information from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, a court-authorized search warrant was authored for the suspect’s cloud-based storage account. Detectives found dozens of files of child pornography on the account. Further investigation revealed the suspect had additional videos of child pornography downloaded to his cell phone.

The suspect, Jacob Rubio, was arrested without incident. He faces 100 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

“This is sickening to me and it will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our children should be protected at all costs. The suspect selfishly exploited children and will now pay the consequences for his disgusting behavior. I commend our detectives for their thorough investigation and arrest of this individual.”

Rubio remains at the Orient Road Jail on a $750,000 bond at this time.

6 And A Half TONS of Weed Found In Toilet Shipment

LAREDO, Texas—U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO) officers at the World Trade Bridge encountered a shipment of toilets that consisted of more than commodes; they discovered more than six and a half tons of marijuana.

“As our frontline CBP officers at World Trade Bridge seek to facilitate lawful commerce in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, they maintain a robust enforcement posture and that vigilance and attention to detail resulted in the seizure of more than six and a half tons of marijuana hidden within the commodity,” said Acting Port Director Andrew Douglas, Laredo Port of Entry.

The seizure occurred on Oct. 2 at the World Trade Bridge when CBP officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a 2015 Freightliner tractor arriving from Mexico hauling a commercial shipment of toilets. CBP officers referred the conveyance for a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, which resulted in the discovery of 1,017 packages containing 13,744 pounds of alleged marijuana hidden within the shipment. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $2,748,404.

CBP officers seized the narcotics. The case was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI) special agents for further investigation.

Trump Teases Release Of ‘Breathtaking’ Russia Probe Documents

President Donald Trump on Sunday teased the release of information related to the Russia investigation, which he described as “breathtaking.”

“Documents are being released at a level now that nobody’s ever seen before. Things that nobody were going to get released are now being released,” Trump said in an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Justice Department and FBI have declassified a slew of documents related to U.S. agencies’ intelligence-gathering activities against Trump and his associates in 2016.

Several of the documents were related to the Steele dossier, which the FBI used to obtain surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Trump did not specify which documents will be declassified. But he said on Tuesday in another Fox News interview that he had ordered the “total” declassification of documents related to what he called the “Russia hoax.”

“Other documents are going to be released…which are breathtaking,” Trump told “Sunday Morning Futures” anchor Maria Bartiromo on Sunday.

“Wait until you see what’s coming out. Breathtaking,” the president said.

Asked whether the documents are about FBI or Hillary Clinton, Trump responded: “It’s about everything.”

“We have found things that nobody can believe,” he said, adding later that “people are shocked” by the information awaiting declassification.

The UK, and others, have criticized Facebook over its plan to introduce end-to-end message encryption, arguing it would allow pedophiles freely share child abuse materials as millions are attributed to the tech giant’s platforms.

The US social media giant has found itself at the center of yet another controversy as its initiative supposedly aimed at protecting the privacy of billions of people using Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp stumbled on the vehement opposition of the UK and the US, as well as other countries. The governments argue the move would make the social networks a safe haven for pedophiles and terrorists.

On Sunday, the UK Home Secretary Priti Patel published a damning piece in the Sun, which said Facebook’s plan would “only help terrorists and paedophiles” and accused the tech giant of failing to come up with any “credible” strategy to fight child sex abuse. The change would make it “near-impossible to recover online criminal conversations,” she wrote, citing some officials. Patel called Facebook’s arguments “overblown” and said it simply wants “to turn a blind eye” to “horrific abuse.”

London did not just limit itself to opinion pieces in the British media, though. The Five Eyes group – the UK, the US, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, also joined this time by India and Japan – issued a joint statement essentially demanding Facebook provide a backdoor for the security services to use to get access to encrypted messages.

“Tech companies should include mechanisms in the design of their encrypted products and services whereby governments, acting with appropriate legal authority, can gain access to data in a readable and usable format,” the statement reads, encouraging the tech giant to find “mutually agreeable solutions” to supposedly protect both privacy and “public security.”

Twitter slaps ‘potentially harmful information’ warning on Trump tweet claiming he’s ‘immune’ to Covid-19

Twitter has flagged a tweet from President Donald Trump for “spreading misleading or potentially harmful information.” In it, he declares himself “immune” to the virus and incapable of spreading it to others.

“A total and complete sign off from White House Doctors yesterday. That means I can’t get it (immune), and can’t give it. Very nice to know!!!” Trump tweeted on Sunday, shortly after a Fox News interview in which he announced the same thing multiple times.

Twitter later flagged the tweet and added a disclaimer, but left it published because it “may be in the public’s interest” for it to remain accessible.

The president’s physician announced on Saturday that Trump is no longer at risk of transmitting the virus to others. Critics have questioned when his last Covid-19 test was, though, since he was released from Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday.

Fauci disavows Trump: ‘I never publicly endorsed any political candidate’

“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of NIH said in an exclusive interview with CNN, responding to the recent use of his statement in a GOP political campaign ad.

“The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials,” Fauci said in a statement provided exclusively to CNN when asked if he agreed to be featured in the ad.

In the ad, Fauci is quoted as saying: ” I can’t imagine that… anybody could be doing more.”
