Very oldanon's been thinking about this. Remember going into 1st grade in a small dirt street town 3 years after the end of WW II. We had air-raid drills, sirens would go off and I would put my clasped hands on the back of my neck and duck under my flimsy little desk. Thought at the time: Why don't we and Russia get together. Let the other countries of the world know that if any one wants war with another, we and Russia say FINE, we got the winner.

You think peace in the Middle East is a big thing? (It is). But it pales in comparison with a bilateral peace pact between the USA & Russia. That would put a STOP to all bull shit world wide.

No, talking about a full bilateral peace alliance with a formal statement saying an attack on one is an attack on the other. Just like NATO. Lived for close to a decade in Germany. Can say for certain, the peoples of Europe, especially the Russians (can't speak for the Brits) would REJOICE.
