Rogers being a double agent for BHO and using the TT meeting to get in with Trump does sound plausible.
Maybe they thought FISA was enough to get what they wanted or they thought that Russia would win the day in impeachment?

After watching Mattis and Kelly departure, Seeing the very strange campaign of Sessions with POTUS literally tweeting "DO NOT TRUST SESSIONS", and now seeing this about Rogers, I don't know how this timeline works.
Mattis shilling for war and calling POTUS dangerous to the constitution, Sessions recusing himself from the Russia investigation, Rogers shilling for Izzy intel agencies? I don't know anon.
I don't claim to be an expert but I believe there was a Q post that said TG wouldn't need to leave office to work on GJ.
Also Wray dropping the ball and outing himself as DS isn't helping the Rogers visual.
I have been on that train of thought as I think most anons have been that we are watching a movie and this helps lend credibility to the arrests as non-partisan and perhaps helps to keep the DS off the scent.
But, digging is what we do. We throw all kinds of shit out there and see what floats and what gets flushed.
As of now, for me, Rogers is part of the plan.
