On March 13, 2018, POTUS announced his intention to nominate Pompeo as Secretary of State. The nomination requires Senate confirmation, still pending.

One month after, we are still waiting. Is this part of the plan? Could be, given that the Senate is controlled by R's, this should have been an easy vote.

Perhaps Pompeo's nomination will come in timing with the beginning of bold actions and visible rain.
