Question. I have a civil case in DC. Nothing major. The last time I heard from the court was December 2019. I thought I would hear back from them last spring. I got some paperwork the end of September and they scheduled a hearing for November 4th, the day after the election. They do not want to reschedule it for another day, which is weird. I would expect there to be major disruptions in DC. They also insist on doing the hearing remotely. I think I have the right to choose if I want to be in-person or remote.
Any ideas about what is going on? Anybody else notice anything? It is an Administrative law court, which handles employee cases, etc.
