if you think about it like this - the military serves the country and president - they are not allowed to show bias. there is a lot of oversight in the military. you can be court martialed for breaking military law. ABC agencies either get fired, covered up, or they "resign". they constantly show bias and favor. they do not serve the president per their mission statements.
think about the consequences if someone in the military leaked information about an ongoing investigation using MI.
