The online culture war has been largely fought by high functioning autism vs low functioning narcissism. The narcissist has tremendous difficulty admitting fault or weakness to previous manipulation, so they double and triple down. Not once will they clue in that they are the useful idiots meant for the day of the rope by their ideological masters. It is sad really. The ugly narcissist is particularly in a bind cognitively, which produces a lot of internal rage and virtually no pageant winners.
One day you might hear from them that they were merely just pretending to be retarded, or ideologically possessed. They have to hit a rock bottom unfortunately. Some never do. Try to forgive them, they have been assaulted by layers upon layers of social and media praise for having the right socially acceptable positions which make them morally superior in their view. You see from the mug shots from Portland how many of the rioters have altered their appearance to fit into the part and they end up all looking the same. They will change their hair, skin, and wardrobe, politics or in some cases gender to rid themselves of their past embarrassments they can't easily hid from– the moral superiority gives them a new life and focus.
