These supposed public health experts are the scum of the earth and beyond salvaging. If a disease, even on its first pass, claims only 0.5% net of those infected (the true IFR might be below that), there is no better alternative than to protect the vulnerable and let everyone else get on with life as normally as possible. To most people, this “thing” is no more problematic than a cold and the sooner resistance to it becomes endemic the better.
These bastards love to create imaginary diseases and paranoid fear. They did it for decades with AIDS, and so now we just need to tell them to go fuck themselves.
There should definitely be an intelligence threshold. One would not even have to set it particularly high in order to invalidate 85% of incumbents.
