What started out asa call in Otay Mesa about a couple having sex in a U-Haulvan led to a police chase Wednesday night.
A woman driving the U-Haul took off when officers arrived to check on what was going on. She led police on a chase on both the southbound and northbound I-5 freeway.
The chase came to an end around 9:30 p.m. on Cedar and Front in downtown San Diego.
The woman was the only occupant in the U-Haul, other than a dog Officers said she appeared to be confused and they were going to have her evaluated. Animal Control took the dog.
When officers searched the back of the U-Haul, they found clothing and other personal items.
